Comprehensive insight into GEC Bhavnagar: strength, opportunity, future potential

Now the world is forwarding towards the computer technolgies to optimise the workloads of the works done by the people.Also i have a interest in the field of computer which can i further expand from this course. This course helps me for my future in real-world to explore the field of computer which includes cyber security, web development, software etc. In the course which i pursued there should be some improvement in practical knowledge which can further expand the knwoledge and help me to success inmy goals. The timing of exam should be improve because, without completeing the syllabus it could be difficult me to give the exam, and if the exam is there and syllabus if complete there are maximum chances of the syllabus is run it without proper manner.

From the 7th semester the students are eligible for campus placement. There are many compnies visited like SKH Algorithm, tatvasoft, silver-touch, shaligram, Case point, ESparkbiz, Cybercom, TCS, Zignut, La Net etc. These compnies come to hire the employees but some of them may not recruit many of the students which can affect placement of the college. In the year 2024 in computer engineering department the highest pakage was 5 lacs per annum by the SKH algorithm and lowest pakage was 2.75 lacs per annum by case point and the average pakage done by the compnies are 3.68 lacs per annum. The percentage rate of the placed student in computer department is 66.67 out of 100. My plan after getting the Bachelor degree is to apply for the job in IT sectors.

In the fee structure it can be categorized in 4 parts which i have to pay per semester but some of them are not i have to pay per semester like admission fees. 1. 1500 rupees, which i have to pay as a admission fees. 2. 500 rupees, which i have to pay as a term fees. 3. 850 rupees, which i have to pay as a exam form fees. 4. 300 rupees, which i have to pay as a PCR(Affiliation) fees. so as a total fees i have to pay is 3150, From that 1500 is admission fee which i don't have to pay per semster it's only pay one time at the admission time and other 1650 i have to pay per semster vice. Also we have a scholarship schemes like Digital gujarat and MYSY scholarship which provide me financial support as a amount of rupees 5000 which helps me to comfortably study in my field without any financial needs.

There is no any annual festivals which i have been celebrated yet but in future let's see what happen, In technical i have celebrate the SIH Hacathon 2024 with my college students anf faculties which helps me to enhance my skills. We have the library which have lots of collection of books to read for every branch vice subject to explore the field of course. We have computer laboratory to implement the programming skillsin real world.In our classroom we have fecilities of projectors to study in easy way also have CCTV security surveillance. We have many clubs run by the students like Finance club, Sportyfy club, Matrix club, Music club ect. We have facility of student portal on which we get all details of our own acedmic details like student portal also get details of student results, payment status eetc.

I choose this college because, on the platform like Shiksha it has been rated 4.1 out of 5 by 83 verified students, 3.9 out of 5 placement rating, 4 out of 5 infrastructure rating etc. I choose this course because i have to explore the field of computer so it's a good oppotunity me to choose this course so i can explore more about the field of the computer. Yes, i get rejection from many coelleges like DDU, MSU, LD, VGEC, BVM,GEC Gandhinagar because of my rank. I applied this course by comleting Diploma in computer engineering so i have to give the DDCET exam after that i have to apply for college i applied many college from the above section but i have applied to those college by TFWS or Government seats so it's difficult me to approved on above colleges but, i get a chance to pursue my Bachelor in computer engineering at GEC bhavnagr. The cut-off of GEC Bhavnagar was 1654 to 7810 which help me to get admission to the college.

The relatioship between student and faculties in our college is very good. We didn't have to hesitate to ask any question about the field of the studies or out of field of studies, they help us with their guidence which can help us the develop our future in right path. I like the all the faculties from my department, i don't know very much about other department faculties but in my department faculties they are just too good at theri experince of teaching, knowlede, logic, communication, and other things. In exams, we have to clear total 2 exams which are PAT(MID) exams and other is University exams. PAT(MID) exams: There are many students who pass the exams but some of the students may not clear the exam, so they have to give re-mid exam and have to clear it so they can clear the semster. University exams: In the university exam we have to clear that exam to clear the semester which is competitive exam for all students for all students in same batch if student may fail in exam than he/she have to apply for REMEDIAL exam to clear the backlogs of any subject. The course which i choose for my bachelor in computer engineering is not hard but there is a very good competition which helps me to work hard. There is lack practical knowledge in my opinion which should be improved. The term date is in inappropriate manner which complete our semster in 3-4 mothes instead of 6 mothes by univrsity which should be improve.

I have done many group discussions throughout my studies which help me to interact with other students and find out the other ways solutions to any problems. I give the admission test for my degree which is DDCET, on which it has 200 marks weightage with negative marking of 0.5, I have successfully completed that exam. For BE degree Diploma students must have to clear DDCET exam which was introduced in 2023. I also give the interview at Vaistra Technology PVT LTD., Which is IT company. I applied for summer Intern on that company on which I have successfully completed my interview.

In my college there is a big library with the collection of books to read which can help student to gain the knowledge. It opens at 10am to 5pm for college students and faculties. The hostel has timing of 6am to 8pm on which i can easily went to college and complete my studies and college is start from 10am to 5pm. There is garden in the campus to visit which have a beautiful view of nature with trees and flowers also there is a huge library with lots of books to read inside the college. Outside of the college there are many temples to visit and pray. The are is safe at day and night with full of security services no worries about it.
