Remarks
It is just like power packed private school. Only for the sake of placement of 3.3L I don't think it is worthy to take admission. College ruined our college life. Gate close exactly at 9:10am and after that you are not allowed to exit the premises upto 4:00pm.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculam is outdated but everywhere you see the same thing. But they are trying to update the pattern. Exam is organised at university level (MAKAUT). 2 mid semester and 1 final semester exam in each semester.
Placement Experience
Placements are quite good 500 students out of 700 are placed. But the average package is very low (3.3Lacs). TCS is the mass recruitmeter every year and they take around 300 students every year. Other big recruiters are pwc, HSBC,voltas,wipro, cognizant etc.
College Events
So many events organising through out the year in the college. Some of the big events are innovacion, iempact, e week, IEEE etc. But there is no any star night in the college. They even just put low class DJ in the cultural fest to enjoy the students. Overall you will not have any memorial night in college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Approximately 50000 per semester. And at the first semester it was about 83000. So yes it is feasible compared to other private colleges.They don't ask for any extra money for the sort of events or anything.
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't think any scholarship would be provided by the college and I have not seen any student who got scholarship in college but you can get scholarship from welfare department from respective state government.
Campus Life
In the name of Extra carricular activities there is nothing. It is just on the pictures and page. Sports facility is available on the teris.no play ground. However labs are very good. Quite good numbers of instruments are there but I don't think they innovate with these instruments.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes there are alumni relationship cell in the college but sadly there is no any interaction with any students at all. And for the seniors we even don't know who is senior and who is junior. No any interaction. It is worst than school.
Admission
First of all you have to appear in WBJEE that is being organised every year by West Bengal board. After securing good rank (upto 6000) you can get admission here. One another way is jee mains. Rank upto 50000 is good to get admitted.
Faculty
Some of the faculties in every department is really good but most of the faculties are not upto the mark. They just came and take 30-40 min class and go. Not even interaction with the students. Qualities of teaching is very bad they even don't know what they are teaching. They came with prepared notes and just put it down on the green boards. Innovation is no where.
