Course Curriculum Overview
The curruculum is good .We have practical class in media studio.we also visits to many news studios like Zee news etc.Teaching can be more advanced like they can use modern techniques to teach students which would be more beneficial.Exam timings are okk.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are okay like courses like b com hons ,BA journalism have on campus placements. I am hoping to get good placement. The average package is around 8LPA. College can work on the placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fees is 22,150/year it may increase in future. There are various scholarships for the students of north-east and the students belonging to SC,ST categories, kashmiri migrants.kasmiri Migrants students have no fees
Campus Life
The overall experience in the college as a freashers is quite good like the faculty and seniors are friendly. College crowd is amazing. There are various sports and extracurricular activities provided by the college. College library is also good have many books. Facilities and technological provisions within the classroom needs improvement.
Admission
My college is one of the best college for this course in DU.It was on 1st place in my preference list .Delhi college of arts and commerce is one of the best college for journalism. Admission is based on cuet scores
Faculty
The faculty is easily approachable.They are friendly in nature and helps students in every possible way.The faculty to student ratio is quite good .Exams are of moderate level if you are a good or average student in your school you can get cgp.
Interview Experience
You have to give cuet exam to get admission in DU. The exam is objective type. There is no GD or Interviews for addmission. The exam syllabus is based on your 12 class. Exam level is moderate and you can score good marks.
Night Life
The college is a part of south campus but it is not situated to south campus. The location of the college is not good and like it is nearly 2 km away from the metro station. Famous hangout places near the college is chanakyapuri because there are a lot of cafes. There is no hostel facility in the college. College timings are 8AM-5PM.
