VIT AP COLLEGE REVIEW

Course ciriculum is not up to date like any other engineering colleges. Ya but thay are trying really hard to improve the quality every year. You will have exams after every one month so be prepared. Most of teachers prepare their Own Ppts and display it in the class . Some of them explain it and others simply scroll through the slide and move ahead . Ppts of a good faculy os mostly sufficient for axoring good marks in the exams.

Internship opportunity are there but it totally depends on your gpa as only 9 pointers mostly get shorlisyed for the internship. For of the companies process and all are online for some u have to be ther on campus.

Placements are decent. Placement for all four campuses of VIT happen in a centralized way. If u have a good Cgpa you have chances of getting into a super drem company or else the majority gets placed in the mass recruiters. Most of the students here plan for masters abroad. Highet package for this year was 52lpa and average was around 8LPA.

In VIT your fees depends upon the category (depens on your rank) you are getting admmision into. Starting from 2L to with the increase of 1 L upto 5L with increase in category. And there is NO Scholarship's in VIT. Thera is another way of getting into VIT AP (exclusive) is through AP-EAMCET. I Don't have much idea about this it but ranges somewhere between 75k to 1.5k .

All a lot of events happening regularly to keep you engaged. You will not feel bored at all a lot of clubs and chapters are there. In the month of Feb we have our annual fest VITOPIA one of the biggest fest in Andra Pradesh. A lot of celebs are invited

Hostels are there, room type staring from 2 bed to 12 bed both ac and non ac Each hostel block has a mess non veg, veg and special. Food is fine u have variety of dishes served . There are rented Pgs nearby i don't have much idea about those. Hostel changes after every urar u are allowed to choose room type depending upon your gpa

Addmission process is quite simple . Just fill up the VITEEE from appear in it wait for the results then wait for the counseling Fill your prefernce order and get into VIT AP . I had other options as well like Manipal, Thapar, etc but the reasons for chossing this college was fees if you get into category 1 you fees are less than 2 LPA. As the college is in Amravati and its a developing capital i see a lot of growth potential in the college. Already big Mnc have started to setup ther offices.

Faculty to student ratio is 1:10 , faculties are really helpfull to answer you queries. Most of faculties are highly qualified with PHD from IITs NITs or Top universities Abroad. We mainly have 3 exams per semester i. e CAT1 CAT2 and FAT carrying 15 ,15 , 40 percentage weightage and rest are from internals , We also lab exmas and the end of each sem.

There is no night life in the college at all hostel in time are 8 : 30 pm and after that no one is allowed outside. Each hostel block as a free gym we decent amount of equipment . A paid gym is there in rockplaza monthly charfes are 1200 and 1 hour per day depending upon the time slot u chose .
