I chose BSC Computer Science because the course highlights the important skills related to Computer Science like C, C++ programming , data structures , Algorithms which are helpful in real world projects and provides the foundation for the coding as well the programming . I feel there must be improvements in the practical knowledge . College should provide real-world projects and skills to learn in order to get good placements in the companies. Exams are conducted semester wise and there is a final project which the students need to give at the last. Exams are not that difficult . I feel that they must provide training and guidance for the final project so that it will be helpful for the students .

The yearly fees was around 30 to 40k . It was semester wise, so for each semester it was 15 to 17k for BSC CS . The fees structure totally depends on which course you have opted. Scholarships like VidyaSiri, Merit-cum scholarships, Vidyasarathi and many are available for the students. Vidyasiri scholarship provides around 5000/- yearly . Along with admission fees there was semister wise exam fees around 1500/-. And also the uniform fees at the starting of the admission.

Annual gatherings and youth festivals are conducted every year. They also welcome Freshers by inauguration and prizes for the Merit based students in their previous course. College allows students to showcasw their talent by participating in Tech festivals , annual day send-off party. A lot of discipline is maintained in the gatherings . There are various types of books and journals available in the library . Library is maintained in a very disciplined and peacefully so that students may read and study with more focus . There are smart boards available in the classrooms which helps students to concentrate more on their studies and make it interesting . There are many sports events and extracurricular activities conducted in the campus . Many college level, district level and state level sports are conducted .

I only applied to this college itself because it was near to my home . I chose JSS SMI College over the others because the college was disciplined , safe and had a peaceful environment and I chose this college because I had my schooling as well as the high school in the same JSS Campus. Admission process involves of selecting a suitable course . The prospectus and all the information related to the courses will be provided by the office staff. Later merit based admissions are given high priority . Later management admissions are taken depending on the students .Minimum eligibility of marks is 60% and above.

The Faculty to student is 2:6. Faculty here have good expertise in their particular subjects . They are helpful as well as easily approachable. There will be semisterwise two internal tests and 1 final exam. So totally there are 6 semester wise exams and 12 internal tests. Most of the students pass the exam. Exams are very relevant to the course curriculum . Faculty provides important notes , assignments and projects which helps the students to perform well in the exam. Many less students fail in the exam. Exams totally depends on how the students study, if they study well then the exams are easy.

There are canteens and cafeterias where students hangout with their friends . There are strict rules and regulations for the hostel students so that they may not misbehave or hangout late night. Hostel students are prohibited to go outside the campus after 7 pm . The locality is safe to roam because there are watchmens and security guards in the campus.
