Course Curriculum Overview
The course that is offered by this college is b.tech. This degree contain many department such as-Mechanical ,civil, computer science, Electronic and communication,and Electrical Engineering.In a year there are two semester examination.One semester exam include two internal examination.
Placement Experience
The Institute has a dynamic Training and Placement cell which is operated by experienced officers from Kolkata and assisted by other senior and experienced faculty members from the co-ordinational wing at the college end of Suri. The Training and Placement cell is continuously scouting for job opportunities for the students of BIET. Yes our college provide internship programme. They provide industrial vocational training for the students.
College Events
In our college there are celebrated various sports and events. The events are-saraswati puja,vishawakarma puja etc.In every year there is held annual sports day.The most interesting event is the cultural fest. It is held at the end of the every year. All the students Inc including teachers participate on this programme.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is not expensive.To complete the degree we have to pay 3lakh and 50 thousand in total 4 years.Every semester we have to pay twenty thousand. We pay this much amount in two quarter.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes our college provide various types of scholarship. Like-TFW for the students whose family condition is so much poor but he scored a very well in wbjee or Aijee exam. There is also halffees scholarship for the poor but meritorious students. In every bank there is loan facility for our college.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are performed in a regular basis. In every subject there is labrotrary. For very well understanding the depth of the subject. Now the syllabus has include extracurricular activities classes.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are so much good. These are cleaned in a regular way. There are two separate hostel namely Biet senior hostel and junior hostel. Senior hostel for the students of 2nd year to 4th year.Junior hostel for only 1 st year students.The senior students does not distrub the junior students.There is no tendency of ragging or such types of activity.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is so much good.More then 50 numbers of campus drives organized during last financial year.One of the highest amongst institututes in West Bengal.Various company like-TCS,TECH-MAHINDRA,WIPRO,IBM,KEC,HCL, INFOTECH, INFOSYS,VEDANTA etc.popular campus drives on our college.
Admission
After passing my high secondary exam I was appeared for West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam. My exam was held on Birbhum Institute of Engineering And Technology. After the end of the examination I visited the college campus and visited the huge infrastructure of the college. On that day I thought that I should study engineering on this college.
Faculty
There are huge number of faculty in our college. This include lecturer staff and lab assistant. The faculty members are very good and always teaches us in a modern way i.e-audio visual study. The lab assistant also help us to do the practical very well manner.
