- The college management is really up to the mark. I am from the computer science and engineering department.

Dislikes
- There are a lot of extra clubs which are not so functional.
- Hostels are good but not up to the mark .
- The play ground is available but not inside the campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is according to the AICTE norms under MAKAUT ( formally known as WBUT ). The curriculum is a bit out dated. But the college provides certification and licences on AWS, redhat Linux and a lot more. The teaching methods are adequate and enough for students. The exam difficult is medium to hard and is held in a interval of 6 months.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are limited but available. The companies are mainly MUSIGMA , microsoft, celebal technologies, deltaX. Many got internship offcampus in Uber. Some got internship from CDAC, ISRO.
Placement Experience
Our college provide really good placements if the student is really eligible for employment. There are adequate no. Of companies visiting the campus. Some big companies are - MICROSOFT, LAB VANTAGE, DELTAX, RTCAMP, DELOITTE, ACCENTURE, PERSISTENT SYSTEMS, IBM, MUSIGMA, TIGER ANALYTICS, KEY SIGHT TECHNOLOGIES, KEYENCE, MANIKARAN POWER, TCS, E&Y etc. The highest package is around 20 lpa and the avarage is around 5 - 6 lpa. Placements are better for cse, it and ece. The core branches have mediocre placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
During my admission the fees was 5.5 lacks. Now it's around 6 lacks maybe. I am not sure about the figure but the fees has increased. During admission I had paid 85000 rupees. And each year it is around 1.2 lacks. Average each semester fees is 60000. There are student credit cards and scholarships available.
Campus Life
There are a lot of clubs in the campus. Namely Litwits( literature club) , Hridmajhare ( music and dance club), Genesis club( coding club ). Moreover we have the GDSC( google developer student club). The campus life is fairly good. There is a very good environment to study in the library, a good canteen , common rooms etc.
Admission
I had applied to TMSL , Heritage and NSEC. I got Cse in NSEC and TINT. I choose this college due to its location. Moreover this college is much better presently the nsec and tmsl because of many reasons. Mainly because of its latest naac accreditation with B++ grade. Which is among the bestest in the city among engineering college. In the Techno India group this college comes at 2nd position after tmsl. The environment is much better than other colleges. The alumi is quite strong. I have seniors working in top mncs. And many also have their own startups.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is appropriate and enough. The faculty is quite good and knowledgeable. Many senior professors are there to help you with years of industry experience. There are research projects available for students.
Night Life
There are no such night life in the college definately. The college closes at 8 pm . It's near the biswa Bangla gate in Kolkata so there is a small gathering everyday for hanging out. There is eco park nearby.
