Likes
- The college enviroment is good as it has many trees and plants in the college which gives you to fresh air. the overall infrastructure is very good and the mechanical workshops are very good and specific design labs are very good for students.
- The attendees is also not much strict therefore it give you lot of time to develop your skills and knowledge.
- As college runs so many clubs for student skill development it gives the next level improvement in skill basis.
Dislikes
- The classrooms are not very clean and also washrooms are not much very clean as they have.
- The many lab equipments are not working therefore it gives only theroy knowledge but some are working there for it is ok.
- As there is no dislike to college other then above.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college helped a lot and it arranges the industrial visit for students to take real world industry experience. we visited the IGTR VATVA, Ahmedabad. The overall experience is very good. Also they have many facilities to arrange the workshops on diffrent topics for understanding the real world examples. the teaching method is also very good.
Internships Opportunities
I had not much clear about the companies and inturnships in college. But from the many clubs of LDCE the internship oppotunities come and from companies which are tie up they also give internships to students. they give good money to students from ranging 10000 to 20000 per month as per skill and interviews which is quiet good for the freshers for experience. the overall placement at LDCE is amzing and many companies are come and they give job to students and the LDCE is very good at placement level and there average package is between 5 to 6 lakh per annum which is very good for students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of LDCE is diffrent according to semester from 1100 to 2500. the fees are paid on the semester basis. the TFWS scheme is also available at LDCE which means there is no fees paid for TFWS seat allotment its free for them. but examination and other registration fees have to paid.
Campus Life
The infrastucture of LDCE is amazing. There are clubs like..ROBOCON, YELLOW SIDE, MEHANICAL ENGINEERING STUDENT ASSOCIATION. The ROTARACT CLUB of LDCE is for sports activity in campus. The facility & technologies are okey not as good. There are LAKSHYA, SAYONARA & ANNUAL CULTURAL FESTIVAL...etc are the festivals of LDCE.
Admission
LDCE is one of the best college in gujarat. It ranks 1st in the GOVT Colleges. the every students of gujarat studying in 12th, diploma engineering have to dream into the LD College of engineering. My dream college is LDCE and i have applied for LDCE in my choices and i got the admission in LD College of engineering.
Faculty
The faculties are very humble and helpful to students for any doubts. The relation between students and faculties is excellent. you can go any time with permission for any doubts. there is only one exam taken before the final exam and it is called mid-semester examination. After mid sem exam internal submission is done by college. After the submission the final GTU exam come and after that practical viva is taken. the exams of mid sem and final is medium in difficultis. If you have learn from starting of semester then its easy for you to give exam. The failure ratio is not to much in exam. the course curriculam is very good for students.
Night Life
The locality is very safe & great at night. i had celebrated at night time and it is safe for students at night and also who stayed at hostels always go for walk around the college. there are many cafe areas and restaurents near the college and they are very good for there food. in hostels there are some rules for students that 8:30 or 9 pm at night after there is strict warning to go outside the hostel. The overall experience is very good and beautiful around the college. There are also many other hostels near the college and they are quiet very good for leaving. some hostels and pg have merit basis admission to get into the hostel.
