Finance is something i was looking for, hence i chose commerce stream. Not all the subjects you learn can help you in work life, but there are few subjects such as tax, cost theory, finance which can help in work. There can be few subject added such as life skills which will help as adults in future. Every year the exams are quite easy to crack and scode good marks.

There were quite many intership opportunities as i know, i heard it from my friends as i have personally not applied for any intership courses given by the college. Intership courses are conducted every year to all students and are encouraged to participate and grow interests in their respective fields.

The students here become eligible during final year of their respective courses. There were several companies that visited and had placement programme. Good pay wa also guaranteed by them to students. Average package starts from 2Lakh Per Annum And the marks to be considered is first class that is 60% and above.

The First year fee i paid was the least amount i paid from all the 3 year course, as I got first class passed out in my 12th, i was said to pay only 12,000 for the First year. Second year i had to pay the fee of 24,000 which included uniform and other extra circular activities fees,development fees,registration fees. Third year also i had to pay fee of 24,000 including uniform fee, library fee, extracurricular activities fee all at once. I was under general category and the students who were SC/ST category were asked to pay 20,000 to 22,000 fee. We could also pay fee in installments and its to be completed by the time we pay exam fee. There were also many opportunities for scholarships and other financial aids in our institution depending on the marks of that particular year. Merit students were given good amount of scholarship every year and all were encouraged to score good marks and do well in life. No doubt at all, this institution is way more affordable than any college in and around Mangalore City. Highly appreciated

There were several annual functions, every month they conducted some or the other function so that they could encourage and include every type of students. Specially Annual day was something everybody used to wait for as we could dress up in our own way.

I had applied to Canara, SDM and Besant. I couldn't get seat in canara as i applied late and seat was already full. SDM was costly and i couldn't afford the fees. Besant was the only option left and i had to choose this institution. And it was the best decision made. During Admission there were no exams, only previous year marks was calculated. 40% is the cutoff marks.

The faculty to student ratio is 10 on 10 undoubtedly. The students can approach their respective teachers or any teacher they would like to approach at any point of time. Everyone is best in their own way and regardless of particular faculty we can approach anyone. As mentioned earlier, this institution has lots to give and there is no point of disliking this particular institution. Every year there is exam and all the class tests,monthly test are conducted and they too help with important questions. Weaker students are given extra classes and help them overcome their difficulties.

Unfortunately there is no Night Life in Mangalore. During day time, we can spend time in canteen which offers different variety of foods, library which has vast number of books of different category. There are no hostel facilities, they must improve on that i personally feel. Campus timing is from morning 9 to 4 Night life here ends at 10pm maximum 11pm can be considered.
