Entrance Preview
I took admission here through AIEEE (now JEE Mains) entrance examination. I score 234 out of 360. Since i was from General category, so I got chance here in 3rd round of online counseling. Since DTU was ranked 7th in Outlook magzine 2012, so taking admission here was a wise decision made by me. I opted for Electrical Engineering (B.tech EE) branch.
Internships Opportunities
I am in final year right now. I have been offered internship by TDPL in my 3rd year with a stipend of Rs.7500 per months. In my class a total of 25 students were lucky to get summer internship. And if you are talented enough then you can get internship in your 2nd year also.
Placement Experience
In Delhi Technological University, more than 400+ companies come for recruitment in an acedmic year, so i can't name every of them here. The package offered by them vary from branch to branch and company to company. Most of the high packages are offered for CS and IT students. In 2015 the highest package offered by was 80 Lpa. Beside packages, in DTU there is record of 100% placement for many years, so NO tension of getting placement here.
College Events
Technical and cultural fest is celebrated here with great enthusiasm every year. In our 2015 fest we hosted the great indian rapper Raftaar Singh. Our Technical cum Cultural fest lasts for 3 days. Also we organise various workshops each weekend so that students can utilize their free time too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Being a government college, DTU has a feasible fee structure. In 2012, it was Rs.65000 for B.tech course. Plus there is 12% hike in course fee every year. So in 2016 it will be nearly 1 Lakh. Hostels rooms are quite expensive here but mess charges are feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
Many scholarships are awarded by college on various parameters and eligibility criteria for students. There is a special branch of State Bank of India in college premises, so there is no worry about bank mishaps. I have availed merit scholarship of Rs.2000 given by state government in 2013. One of my ST friend has got a minority scholarship of Rs 60000.
Campus Life
Campus Life in Delhi Technological University is more than awesome. And if you have a hotel here then I am speechless to mention it in words. Laboratories of DTU are world class level. There are departments of every possible activity here which include- dramatics, robotics, social, entrepreneur, debating, sports, political, athletics etc. etc. These societies are run by responsible team leaders elected by team members themselves.

Yes. We have an Alumni Channel also. Since this college was established in late 20th century, our alumni have reached in top levels of many reputed companies. We have a few alumni-students interaction seminars every year. We get mentored by them. Seniors helps their juniors selflessly by providing them with notes and related study material.

Faculty here is just superb. No words from me on this topic. I am speechless. There have been many guest lectures by reputed guest faculties in the campus every week. There are nearly 70 seats in every branch so DTU has a good student to teacher ratio.
