Course Curriculum Overview
The circulum and shedule is slightly different than other colleges and it is easier than others. The shedule is relatively free and Better for the students. The faculty are best in teaching both offline and online with or without technical support.
Internships Opportunities
Well i don't know about the internship given by the college as i am first year student of this precious institution and I don't know anything about it. Well any of my seniors may know the details about them.. well i am not
Placement Experience
The students from semester 6,7 and 8 are eligible for campus placements. There are many large scale industries and small scale industries come for placements. Every year around 70 to 90 percent of the students are placed better. And few students placed with excellence.
Fees and Financial Aid
In this college, for everyone has same fee structure. To get into this college there are 2 way. One by submitting the 12th marks alone or else 12th mark plus JEE mains marks. By this marks, you are allotted to different ranks according to your marks. The seats allotted according to ranks which have more types like Thanjavur rank, Trichy rank, tamilnadu rank, all india rank etc.. by these u are allotted and by NRI also u got allotted into college. For every seats the fee is 2.5lakh if ur a hosteller and for nri it is more.
Campus Life
In this college, every year they have 3 events per semester. For odd semesters, it intra college sports, technical and cultural. For even semester, it is inter college sports, technical, and cultural. In this college, there are many languages speaking students with different students club. So the students life at campus is excellent
Hostel Facilities
There 9 girls hostel and 6 boys hostel in the campus. The meal by hostel committee is comparatively good but not so much better. The hostel fee is so much less compared to other colleges and mess fee is collected monthly basis around 4.5k a month.
Admission
I choosed sastra engineering college deemed to be university Thanjavur because it is ok and better in all insights than the other colleges. I have allotted in SRM chennai, Amrita Nagercoil and more but this college is better in placements, faculty,hostel facility and more
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio is 1:59 for each subjects. The faculties are better while teaching. And they are good in practical lab too. Some of the faculty should improve their works. Other than that everything is all right.
Night Life
In our college they have large library with free college Wi-Fi. They have 2 big canteens and 5 to 6 small shops. But only veg is allowed inside the premises and hostels. There is restriction of non vegetarian inside the premises. There is gym for both boys and girls seperately.
