MNIT Jaipur : Through the eyes of 2027batch

Courses for my department are i will say are quite good as i find them useful and interesting and they are updated regularly with syllabus and contents as per needed .exam frequency is fixed for mid and end sem but in bw quizzes and assignments and vivas kep going on and you will not feel free in between the semester

There are several companies which offers interships to students in 3rd year on campus like for ece and electrical students texas instruments is best for core.other companies like nvidia , qualcomm and other other IT, software companies offer oncampus intership offer to students here.

Students get internship opportunities even from 2nd year and in 3rd and 4th year .but for on campus hiring companies visit only in 4th year.It is heard that this year highest placement from mnit is about 60lpa something from cse branch.companies visiting to campus includes google, Microsoft, samsung,nvidia, etc. Well i am in race to clear gate to get into psu's

Total fee here at MNIT Jaipur for BTech is almost Rs 1,15,000 per sem.In which , 32000 is hostel+mess fee,62000 is institute fee (concession based on yearly income is provided on this)and Almost 20,000 is always payable that consists other costs etc. However, scholarships can availed ,like complete institute fee (that 62000 component)concession for yearly income below 1lpa,2/3rd concession for less than 5lpa.There are hell lot of other scholarships can be availed, which will be notified by institute.

Well , college life of MNIT is quite rich with it's prime location in city of jaipur so you don't lack for trip places during whole four years.There are two national level crazy fest from MNIT organized every year one is technical fest SPHINX and other is cultural fest BLITZ in which national level artists are welc9med every year. College has extraordinary and always upgrading sports facilities bit with one cons of time boundation till 9pm only. Clubs conditions is not so good here i have to say sadly as almost all clubs are barely running with just a fistfull of peoples feom this whole college.

For boys and girls separate hostels are there of total 15 hostels,with 2(big of capacity 1000 each almost) for girls and others for boys with some small capacity of 200 to big of 1000 students. In first year 3 seaters are provided for freshers in a Seperate hostel from seniors to avoid rag. From 2nd year single seater rooms are provided with conditions of rooms is descent if old Hostel alloted and very good if new or midage hostels are allotted.table ,chair ,bed , almirah etc. are provided. Mess food quality is descent with 4 time meal as breakfast,lunch, snacks and dinner with veg menu and egg on Wednesday only. PG services totally depend on you if you don't want to register for hostel .

I basically given JEE exam in which i got ece in mnit at 14000 rank through obc quota.my jee advance rank was not enough to get any iit ,so i chose nit.i was getting almost electrical in every nit, but i chose in remain in north with ece as my first choice and i chose bit jaipur bcz of city preferences . Here admissions are excepted for ug ,only through jee mains

The faculty to student ratio is 1:120 for each course,however there are phd scholars or other professors to whom you can discuss.faculties are I will say very good and friendly of my department,however few exceptions exist even though.like linear integrated circuits prof. Ritu and her assistants are tough to bear.And rest prof's i will say lie in very good to best region . There are two exams in each sem mid sem and end sem of distribution 30+50 and 20 internals.difficulty level feoends on prof's mood most of the time but they try to save from failing if paper is tough.

No such GD's or any interview is required for admission in UG .only you need to clear and get a good rank in jee mains and 75 percent in class 12th.I prepared for jee in kota allen coaching institute.

For boys Hostel thers is NO timings , which makes us stressfree but for girls in timings is 10pm atmost .Campus seems quite lush greenery till 10 pm after that becomes dry state.no cafeteria's in campus (big big cons), for couples every place in the campus can be a hangout place without any restrictions till 10pm.
