Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is as same as that of the IIT's and IISc. It is very helpful for preparation of the competitive exams. Curriculum also includes laboratorie hour which helps in giving the hands on experience to understand the concepts and subject a little better.
Internships Opportunities
I'm still in 1st year so I don't have much idea about internship. But our college does offer the intership with handful of stipend. Various faculties has many different projects going and their students are allowed to work with them if interested.
Placement Experience
Specifically talking about physics department, there no big named placement as such but they can get you an average package of about 35 lakhs. The faculty is trying and connecting to the well reputed companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fees is Rs 1,50,000 in which tuition fees is of Rs 75000 and Rs 3000 for enrollment and examination fees. The deposit was taken of 10000 security deposit and 3000 library deposit. And there is research based assistant-ship of Rs 25000 per semester.
Campus Life
Campus Life is very happening in this college. There are various clubs. And the clubs that focuses on dance, music, science, political science, current affairs, fashion and so on. Sports department is also very much active in our college
Admission
I've heard about Pandit Deendayal Energy University a lot from my friends, family and most importantly my teachers. The facilities and faculty both are top notch. The admission process was pretty simple. We were given a registration form and then a test was taken on computer related to our subject then the interview was taken by the board of department of physics.
Faculty
The faculty is very kind and supportive. We have very experienced and expertised faculty. Talking about exam system and marking scheme, internal assessment is taken after completion of every unit, assignments are given accordingly and attendance, this makes upto 25 marks and mid semester taken of 50 marks converted to 25 marks hence completing 50% of our overall performance. Then end semester is taken of 100 marks converting it to 50 marks. At the end everything is combined. our core structure is helps in cracking the competitive exams as well
Night Life
We have a pretty big campus and at night there are lights that makes you comfortable and cozy. Our college has cafeteria, mess, 3 libraries. Our college also has girls and boys hostel in campus offering them all the necessary facilities with proper rules and regulations for their safety.
