Remarks

All are very good. Our faculty members are very good and well behaved. They are very highly educated from the best colleges in West Bengal and all over India. They always take care of our study and all the other things.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course in BTech in academy Of Technology in information technology is very good. The placements opportunities are very good in this college. It is a very good college in West Bengal. In this course we have to learn all about computer.

Placement Experience

The placements in our college Academy Of Technology is very good except the department Mechanical engineering. In all the other departments placements are very high. In previous years all the students from vlobsa information technology and computer science engineering are placed in very good companies.

College Events

Saraswati puja Biswakarma puja Independence day Yearly fest Tech fest Photography contest Durga Puja And the many other things. Our college has a very big campus and a large field. All the occasional programs held there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of my College academy Of Technology is quite high during the placements opportunities and for the technical aspects. The fee structure of the course of my BTech in four years is nearly 4 lacs

After getting a rank in West Bengal joint entrance examination and by choice filling I get my College. My stream in BTech is Information Technology. My rank in Wbjee is 29700(approximate). So I can avail this opportunity.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Honest opinion about my college(AOT)

1)I applied to TMSL and heritage insitute of technology but i choose AOT over them because in tmsl there are no hostels and in heritage i got ece. 2)Admission to our college is through wbjee, jee mains,JELET (for lateral). no need to worry about admission process you just need all require documents and proofs to get admission. 3)From heritage i got rejection because i don't get cse there.(my rank was 10k). 4)mostly students came here through wbjee in 2025 cutoff of cse this year was approx 30 to 35k....Read More

Academy of technology Reality check

I got this this from WBJEE , i wrote this exam and I score rank under 12 k in which our college has cutoff of 20k. I applied for the councelling of WBJEE and got selected in first round .
