Course Curriculum Overview
i choose physiotherapy because it combines my passion for healthcare with a hands on approach to helping people recoverand improve their quality of life . Here, In GNDU they need an improvement for medical courses specifically should add some practical things and more practioner equipments
Internships Opportunities
In physiotherapy there is a mandatory 6 months internship that has to be completed by each and every student and it depends upon the student that in which hospital they wanna complete it as the hospital should have a physiotherapy faculty. After the end of an intership you have to submit a thesis with a topic that you have choose for your intern
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of the course was twice yearly that makes approximately 350000 yearly and there was no additional charges for the same. SC/ST doesnot require any fee and scholarships are for the students with parents having less than 100000 annum
Campus Life
The social life of my university was excellent whether it's about memories or it's about the opportunities to achieve something apart from academics, GNDU is a best option. Also, yearly fest has a specific corner inside every alumni's heart which makes the student life even memorable
Hostel Facilities
i wasn't a hosteller throughout my course but i did lived in hostel of one semester, the hostel faculty is average can't describe on an pros and cons wise, meals of the hostel wasn't good....on overall basis it was just average
Admission
Guru nanak dev university has a very famous alumni personalities who have achieve something and a rich culture maintained by them through various fest Also it's NAAC apprehented which it my choice of university However, there are few things that have to be improved
Faculty
The faculty is very poor however it depends on the faculty person individually as well, the exams are yearly basis in physiotherapy and some more departments and the rest have a semester system. Marking scheme also varies department to department
Night Life
The university has a well maintained gym with proffesional trainers, variety of cafeterias provides the best food, a huge libraray with the variety of academics material also providing a positive vibe around the campus, a gurudwara in the centre/heart of the university gives so much peace
