REALITY OF SRM

The couse they provide , i mean the subjects are quite relevant ,which teaches u something will help you in your life. But again if the teachers are not good , you cannot expect a student to excell in his or her acedemics. Students do get marks in college , but hardly they have the knowledge about the subject.

Internship opportunituies are also providedby the college , iyts just that You have to pass some exam Agauan i have note reache dthat stage so its quite difficult to say any on this part. But yes as fas as i know what i got to know from the college people , yes they do provide intrnships.

The college provides the placements but the average pacxkage is around 4 to 6 LPA. Since I havent reached the placement part yet, since i am in 2nd year so its not fair to say about it since I dont have muc h knowledge about it

SRM university fee structur varies from department to department. I have paid 450000rs as the tution fee and i am from CSE department. Yes the college provides scholarship opportunities as well, andit has different categories, like defence sector, staff child and many more , you can check it on the website. So according 450000 per year ,The total fees wiil be 1800000. Yes, the fees is increasing year by year in quite high amount.

The campus life of SRM i sjust great, and the social life is also great. Its a next level couple point, U will hardly find girls non-commited. Th events also happen on regualr basis , like the roadshows or any workshop or anything of that sort

In hostels, You will be provided with a bed, cupboard, table chair. There are different types of hostel AC and NON-AC and their fairs are also different AC--2.5L NON-AC -- 1.3L Meal is not really good since I am a north indian but the south people like the mess' food.

I gave JEE and i scored 90 percentile and i am from general category so getting any govt college is just next to impossible. So i applied for the pvt colleges VIT, Thapar, SRM JAYPEE. I wantedadmission in Thapar only, but i wasnt getting the brach which I opted for so mynext preference was SRM, igave SRMJEE and secured a very good rank around 1400 and got the admission .

The faculty is in quite good amount and the students are in 60 times of one teacher, so u can understand the collge in-take is very very very high and yes donation is also one ofthe major factors Due to this donation, very few knowledgeable students arethere in the class and many are just wasting their parents money , because theirparents have a lot of money

The college provides you gym. they have the cafeteria as well which is opened till 8 pm and the hostel cafeteria is opened till 9 pm.Libarary is just fantastic of SRM , never ever seen such a good library in my life. Hostel life is good , enjoyable and very much fun, its just that the in-timeof the jostel is 9pm.
