Course Curriculum Overview

I joined the BSc course because i want to prepare for competetive exams, and i need help with physics, chemestry, and biology. The hotel next to the college improvement, and the also needs to improvement.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 10500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My college Fees are ?10500, and the exam fees are ?1300, every year the fees are increasing. My clasamate fees ?10700,and I receive a yearly ssp scholarship of ?3500. To state goverment karnataka and hall ticket fees is ?50.

Campus Life

Our college has an annual party called the sand up party. In our college, journals are also provided, and their charge is ?200. The sports activities in our college are good. Our college has an Nss group that share important notice in the groups.

Admission

I took admission in the college directly based on my friend's referral, there is no exam for admission here. A form is given for admission, which needs to be filled out with the required details and submitted to get admission.

Faculty

The college students have great friendships, and attend classes together. We like our college's laboratory wing, but we don't like the college ground because it is not clean. The annual exam is difficult, and many people fail as well.

Night Life

There is agym and library a little distance from our college, and there is also a hotel next to the college, which stays open 10AM to 9PM. There are no famous places on the right side of our college.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

Placement Experience:

We have mandatory internship period after 2 years of teaching, and they provide internship and placement support. Different Companies come and take test and hire the eligible candidates. Regarding placement package, since it's just been 1 year of SST there cannot be said anything about it. But Scaler the parent Company of SST has average package of 22lakhs and highest package of 1.04cr.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

Why you should join SST

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it was very curriculum heavy meaning the cirriculum was very good . the girls to boys ratio here is 1 : 8 . but this year only 200 peopel were selected out of 200. they are industry tech experts. they are passable

Do it for yourself

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to go into it field. The faculty is good here nothing to improve about that and the student ratio is 5:3. Qualification is good and the teaching method like some lectures is good. Term exams will be after 6 months from starting of sem and it's not as difficult as pu or 10th exams we can easily pass them.
