If A student Interested for practice as a lawyer or He/ she Interested to try luck in judicial service then this College is the best. But those who want to get a private job or desk based job this is not the place. Because There is no placement opportunities in this College

Course Curriculum Overview

It Is A Good Combination Of Subject For Those Who Prefer Legal Profession. There Are 6 Subject In Total. Till 2nd Year 3Arts or BA Subjects And 3 Law Subjects. 3rd Year Onwards All Six Would Be Law Subjects. From 3rd Year There Would Be Combination Of Some Compulsory And Selective Paper. Exam Structure Is Based On Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). 80 Mark Written Exam , 10 Mark Viva o Voice and 10 Mark Internal Exam.Whole Course Is Divided Into 10 Semester.

Then An Entrance Exam Would Be Held In Which Questions Would Come From General Knowledge And Elementary English. Then A Merit List Would be Published By The Authority , 50% Mark From The Entrance + 30% +2 Mark + 20%10 Mark = 100% Would Be Selected

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Courses and instructors are good, but don't expect a rocking campus life here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this college without planning as I couldn't get a desired seat in IIT. But I think it was for good. The course is a wonderful primer on the path of becoming a scientist. Compared to other colleges, IISER Berhampur has a quite good faculty: student ratio. But most of them are pretty good as people and as teachers. We manage to conduct all classes without fail. But I'd like to see an increase in the number so that the research area can be broadened. The faculty here have all completed their Ph.D. and postdoc and all have some good prior experience in research and teaching. I like most of the instructors that have taught me except for a few one or two. The exam schedule is given right with the calendar release of each semester before the semester starts. Sometimes there might be changes in the schedule but we are informed around 2-3 weeks earlier in that case. Exams are not hard to pass if you attend classes and study sincerely. Questions are not asked beyond the concepts being taught.

Placement Experience:

After the summer internship. The college started giving campus placement training and during the month of September, students got placement already. Companies like TATA AIG, Collegedunia, Federal Bank, Delloite, ADP, TCI, SIS, HDFC AMC. IDFC BANK. Practo, ADVARISK, AXIS BANK. Property pistol came and took a maximum of students. The highest package was offered by international companies like property pistol with 22 lac CTC and average being 5lacs. Mostly the profile was on sales and marketing. only a few fintech companies could recruit students. Till now around 96% of students are placed in different domains and already started working. I am fortunate enough to get placed in the FEDERAL bank with 10lac CTC and as a fresher joining such a big company will be extremely grateful to the college and its placement team. They personally look after students drawback by the feedback they get from the recruitment teams and suggest where to improve and give a number of opportunities to seat for the company.

All are good,but only fooding quality is below the level.And also it does not have any playground available to play outdoors games.only it have not a playground but this college have good class room,WiFi campus, Computer centre,canteen, language lab and hostel are there.

The admission process is totally based on Entrance exams which is based on your general knowledge, reasoning, english etc. to be eligible u have complete your graduation and the exam is very easy to crack if u have basic knowledge about the above subjects. Loving it!

It is a College which has produced a number of leading judges and advocates. That was the prime reason that I joined here is its alumni. The one complaint I have is that there are no hostels here. It is a great inconvenience for many students. Otherwise the campus is well-equipped to meet our needs. The cafeteria is a great one.I often hangout there in my free time with my friends.
