- The distance between our college and the main city is quite a handful
- Lack of transport facilities from college to the main city of Warana
- The strictness of the girl's hostel is way more than the boy's hostel with useless restrictions
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is well structured as it provides theoretical knowledge about the course we're persuing, but it lacks the importance of practical knowledge and skills that are required in order to be industry ready. There are a lot of theoretical subjects in the course that are quite useless when it comes to work experience.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly Fees of our college are dependent on the type of scholarships you have and the type of admission you take For management quota, the fee structure is around 72,000. If you've got a scholarship of any kind then you can have the financial aids like Punjabrao Deshmukh and others which can have your fees reduced to somewhere around 40,000 yearly for general category students.
Campus Life
We usually have 3-4 events yearly which include : 1) Annual Gathering 2) Annual Sports Day 3) Annual Traditional Day 4) Quantum - Annual technical event There are social groups like literature, drama & music, that are made by students and there's guidance provided by the college faculty but yet it's mostly funded by students
Admission
I applied to all the DY Patil colleges in my city , as I wanted a college in my city itself I got this college as my score was just the criteria needed for the college. The fee structure and the college campus is what dragged my attention towards the college.
Faculty
The Faculty to student ratio isn't the best, as there's a lack of actually skilled faculty and due to the vacant positions , their just filled with people who don't really have the required knowledge of the subject their teaching which may lead to the academic loss of the students Other than that there are some faculties of programming languages that really dog deep into the syllabus and our of syllabus, practical teaching is done but yet they're replaced
Night Life
Due to the location of the college, as it's in a much rural area mostly there's no event taking place in the nighttime. The canteen and cafeteria closes around 8 pm or after the dinner time of the students. There's no way of going out during nighttime as safety of the students is taken into consideration
