- Infrastructure issues - given its historic nature , some buildings or facilities may not be well-maintained, with old classrooms, or e-libraries compared to newer institutions.
- Quality of faculty - while some professors might be excellent others may not be as engaging, accessible or up-to-date with current teaching methods.
- The hotels of Patna college is not good. Hostels infrastructure is bad.
Course Curriculum Overview
It covers basic and traditional subjects well, which is helpful for students preparing for government exams or academic careers. Subjects like history, political science and literature are strong in their theoretical aspects. It gives a wide variety of subjects especially in arts and humanities for students to explore.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am the student of 1st semester. I have payed ?1100 during apply from and ?2255 after admission after that I have payed 500 rupees for exam (1st semester). I don't what is the annual fee of Patna college but when I searched on google . I think the yearly fees of this course is ?2255×2(course fees)+?500×2(exam fees)=?5510. Note- exam fees depends on your subject like I have choosen geography in mdc that's why I have to pay for pratical exam. For SC and ST student I think course fees of 1st semester is ?170 and ?300 for exam fee .
Campus Life
The college has a friendly diverse environment with students from different backgrounds. The ganga river nearby makes the campus peaceful and a nice spot for students. Some culture events and debates bring students together and create a sense of community.
Admission
I have applied only patna college because this is one of the best college in bihar. This college takes exam at time and also give result at time that's why I like it. And also there are many facilities available in this college which are expert in their subjects. The admission process of this college is you have to give an entrance after your selection you will be able to take admission in this college. But in this year 2024 the admission process is depend on 12th marks.
Faculty
There are many teachers in Patna college. While some professors might be excellent others may not be as engaging, accessible with current teaching methods. I like all teachers of history department because their explanation method is very unique. I don't like some teachers of geography department due to lack of their knowledge. There are 2 exams in one semester first is mid term exam(CIA) and second is end semester exam. There are total 70 marks in ESE and 30 marks in CIA
Night Life
Most activities happen during the day and the campus becomes quiet in the evening.in hostels or central library, students study together at night. There are local foods stalls and small restaurants near the college where students enjoy snaks, samosa and chaats. The nearby Ganga river is peaceful and students sometimes visit the ghats in the evening to relax.
