The course is not at all relevant, it is outdated. If a student just prepares the course work then the probability of himm getting placed will be very less, he/she need to study via youtube or follow the industry very carefully in order to be relevant There are 4 exams of 5 different subjects and the end month is very hectic because there is alot of exams in last month including end sems and lab exams

There is very less internship opportunities, if a student wants to secure he/she need to work on gaining skills alot and focus on offcampu because very less students gets on campus internsgip around 2% students are able to secure on campus internahip

If there is no campus placement then gor sure there will be not more than 50% students will get placed because of there irrelevant syllabus and course structure, google, Microsoft, jp morgan vist our college regulary. 80 to 90 % student get placed in campus placement. My plans afte getting the degree is to opt for masters in cse at iits or iisc

The campus life ia really great you will meet variety of students although 50% student will be from Jharkhand but still the rest 50% will be from different parts of india. Ther are alot of clubs and societys in college so for sure you will find a club alligning with your interest. There are generally three big fests 1.Tech fest 2.Cultural Fest 3. Bitotsav The main and the biggest fest in BIT mesra is bitotsav There are alot of sports facilities 1. Football Stadium 2. Running tracks 3. Cricket Ground 4. Volleyball Court 5. Indoor/outdoor Bdminton Court 6. Basketball Court 7. Hand Ball Court Etc

The hostel facility is very good you will find all of the facilities. The hostel rooms are very small it will take some time for anyone to adjust but very soon you will accept yout room and then you will start enjoying your college life. For every 15 to 25 room there is 5 bathrooms and 5 washrooms and 1 bathroom and 1 washroom for pwd students The mess food quality is decent its not the best but its also not the worst Bot doesnt allow students to stay in pg's but in some case bit would allow, its very difficult to get a pg nearby so in order to get a pg you have to find a pg in ranchi main city which is 15 km from bit mesra

Actually i got this college in last round if csab, so there was no other option thats why i came to this college Compare to other colleges Benefits:- 1. Large campus 2. Green Campus 3. Alot of Clubs and Society's 4. One of the best Alumni Network Disadvantages :- 1. Irrelevant Syllabus 2. Higher Fees 3. Startup Culture is very less 4. Very less Research support from proffesors I applied for newton school of technology for there btech in cs and ai program and i was selected in that college but my parents prefered bit because bit is very old college and there great alumni network In bit mesra You need to secure under 1 lakh in jee and then you can choose this college in jossa or csab counselling

Faculty have great knowledge in the field and they have really high intrest on the topic, but tjey don't have intrest in teaching that topic to student, as a student if you want to learn that topic then you have to run behind the faculty or learn from somewhere else because in class they just read slides and tell you the dates for upcoming exam The exams are really tough because profs set good quality papers and there is 2 quizes of 10 marks each then there is mid sem of 25 marks and then there is an Assignment of 5 marks and then there is end sem of 50 marks I really enjoyed styding under Dr Rajnish, he was my program for problem solving Prof, he used to tell us different ways to solve a problem which has helped me alot. His teaching style is the best. The faculty to student ratio is 10:60

No there was no gd or pi for admission, for admiision you need valid jee main score, I consistently prepared for jee for two years and then i applied for jee and scored 65000 rank and the i appkied through josaa counseling and then through csab counseling i got BIT Mesra

Night life is not that good because afte 9:00 pm all the stores and canteens are closed. Gym is free for everyone and is open from 8 am in the morning to 9pm and the gym equipped with all latest gym equipment For girls the in time is 9pm bit for boys there is no in time in hostels. But the in time is 10 pm in campus There is hnc, nescafe, food trucks and apni rasoi which are the popular canteens and hangout places At almost every place you will find security guards so there is no need to worry about you saftey
