The placement, teaching and all the facilities provided by the colleges is up to the mark. The experience in the college for 3 years is important for future reference. There is no negative feedback from my side.

The course is completely is based on the hotel administration and it's Management. The course contains basically four basic subjects and all other secondary subjects like accounting, communication and information technology skills.

As the college IHM Chennai is world's 25th best hotel school as per the report of CEOWORLD MAGZINE, it generally takes consideration of mainly the placement which is really exceptional. The college does provide internship with average stipend of 3000 INR.

The most awaited and grand event of the year is the food fest which is celebrated each year on different themes. It is actually a public event held in the college with more than 25 sponsors. Other events are the farewell, sports day.

The fee structure compared to private colleges is much less. If we consider both the hostel fees and the tuition fees of per year, it would be generally 1.3 lakhs including mess and other facilities provided.

The scholarship is not provided to Genral students but the admission is based on quota based. Scholarship is provided for the local students of the permanent resident of the state. Instead, there is no other scholarship provided.

The college is quite large in area compared to other government hospitality colleges, hence it has all the labs required for the practicals. The college have a library, a big ground in front of hostel with basketball court.

The college have in total of 3 hostels. One hostel is provided to the Girls of all academic years. The other hostel is for boys belonging to 1st academic year. The last one is also for boys with 2nd and 3rd academic year. I will rate the hostel 06/10.

The senior students are quite helpful whenever there is any requirement in the college whether it is academic or any event based. There is always alumnus day held every year to give recognition in the college to them.

Firstly i applied for NCHMCT Exam for 100 marks which consists of 4 different categories. Mathematics, English, General knowledge and skills and situation based. Then, we received all india ranks respectively based on which we have to fill our college options on the NCHMCT website. The college will allocated to us and first installment of the semester should be paid in advance.

The faculty is quite experienced in teaching as some of them have good industrial experience too. The teaching is very smooth consideration of both theoretical as well as practical study. Everyone is really supportive.
