Honest review of college of Liberal arts under MIT-WPU.

Honestly this is the best college that happened to me on my peronsal basis considering my choices and options. But yes there's still a lot of infrastructure to be provided and the administration still needs to be in place. Being relatively new course we are facing a lot of problems.

Psychology course available at MIT-WPU is probably the best out there in honours degree. With the best faculty available for our course its a true practical blended with theory perfectly to enhance you to become a good psychologist. Exam structure is a unique pattern followed here i.e Trimester pattern (3 exams throughout the year in duration of 3 months per trimester). This structure recalls reduces the exam burden and students can actually focus on studies instead of mere clearing exams.

Placement for specifically to liberal arts is still not at place. Internships are provided by college but being relatively newly established course its taking time to root. Internships so far offered were content writing, media analytics, virtual suggestions for marketing bases etc.

MIT-WPU is the university known for extensive all year around events. National sports meet, National teachers conferences, Bharatiya chhatra sansad are national fame events. Apart from this every college under MIT-WPU has their own annual cultural event. And also throughout the year there are fests, cultural meets, fairs etc

It's a bit expensive. For psychology only its 1 lakh per annum I'm paying currently. While our seniors are availing the same benefits at a mere cost of 35000. Being privatised is a concern for the over expensive course they are providing.

Scholarship for 80 percent and above is available. Based on your merit MIT-WPU provides multiple scholarship but minimum should be of 80 percent. Rest loan facility as such for liberal arts is not provided but I'm assuming it will be there for engineering and management courses.

Extracurricular activities like lab for psychology is necessary but we still don't have a formal lab structure yet. Sports is based on your personal interest. Only basketball and cricket are well structured and even football has a self surviving team but rest sports are appreciated and indulged but don't have a proper mentorship.

I belong to Liberal arts college of MIT-WPU. And we don't have any alumni yet. So this netwrk is still not established. Senior students are pretty friendly and the vibes of senior and junior never exist in our college

Through website i filled in for the admission process of my college. I was given a fixed date and venue in my city Delhi only. Where I had to undergo one Genral aptitude entrance exam followed by one round of interview. Both of them were general and focused on you as a person instead of ur academic intelligence only.

As also mentioned above, the faculty for psychology is the best out there. A panel of young teachers and few middle aged it brings the contemporary required mentality along with the lines of experienced teaching.
