Experience of college life

It is very good and I do not agree about the negative comments about our college. People are just spreading false rumours and accusations. We have a really good college and no one is forced to do anything they are uncomfortable with.

We have Internal and External examinations. Internals continue throughout the semester and External are at the end. Our course structure is also very diverse and allows us to have dual specializations.

Our college has 99 to 100% placements and that is very good for an under graduation course. Average packages are 3.5 lakhs. The highest domestic are up to 8 lakhs and the highest international placement is 17.5 lakhs.

We have many college activities and have 13 clubs. We also participate in inter-college fests and we have SYMPULSE which is the biggest college fest in India. We have a lot going on in the extracurricular exams.

The fees are high around 1.37 lakhs per semester with additional hostel fees. It is definitely very expensive and the college does not provide as many scholarships as it should. The scholarship is for the toppers.

The only scholarship given is to the topper of the first semester. And it covers only about 10% or 50% of the next semester. Though I do not remember the exact policy and loopholes which our college follows.

Very good indeed. As I mentioned earlier we have 13 clubs and all festivities are celebrated nicely. We have a computer lab, library and reading room. We also have a game room and the sports council is in charge of the sport.

Hostel fees are 150,000 per year. As our course is 3 years we have to pay accordingly. The infrastructure is very good. We have gardens and games. All festivals are also celebrated in our hostel with a DJ and party.

Our alumni network is very good and we have an alumni cell that keeps in touch with them and every year at impulse, all the alumni are invited for a get-together and meeting. We have a good reputation.

I had to fill out a form for the entrance exam and pay for the admissions form. Then choose the city as a centre for entrance. I then cleared the SET exams and got an offer letter for Pi-Wat. Then I gave my written test and personal interview and got admission after clearing all 3 stages.

The faculty is very good and most of them gave PHDs. They are experienced and very helpful. They give us experiential learning class for solving our doubts and also help a lot with our projects and exams.
