Remarks

The infrastructure isn't very good, yet the quality of education makes it up-to the mark. Canteen is also very good and serves amazing food. The street food around college is great, which also makes it a very sought after college. It's affordable to its best.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I feel that the curriculum is perfect for people who are avid readers and Have genuine interest in English literature and its history. The syllabus gives an insight into how literature evolved over years. It is closely associated with political science, history, and philosophy. Different aspects such as these are studied in order to understand the core of the course. Exams are held two times a year, at the end of each semester. Internal assessments are also conducted througout the year, as per teachers' and students' convenience.

Placement Experience

4

The placements all throughout the North Campus of Delhi University are impressive, and the packages are apt for graduation courses. My college has a placement cell, called Avenues, that helps in bringing in internships as well as placements according to students's choices. They can also try for internships on their own via different platforms.

College Events

5

There are numerous societies in the college, such as, GrubStreet, Montage, Enactus, etc. Each society has their annual fests, wherein, they celebrate and hold events and speaker sessions. Many events are held all over the year. Speaker sessions, film screenings and other cultural programs take place every now and then.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very very affordable. For my course, the fee is about 8000 for a year, which amounts to about 24000 for whole of the graduation. Private universities are much more expensive than colleges at DU.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no scholarships per se. I didn't avail one. It is also true that for a college that has a fee as low as 24000, a scholarship or loan doesn't make sense. There might be concessions for people from poor background, but I've not heard of such loans.

Campus Life

2.5

Everything here is very good. There is even sports quota for students good at it. Other activities and social life is also very active and the exposure is of a great level. Students get to learn so many new things and it helps them evolve as a human being.

Hostel Facilities

4

my college doesn't have a girls hostel, but I've heard great things about the boys one. The meals provided are of great quality and there is no deadline per se. The discipline is of a high standard. The warden and other teachers are very supportive.

Alumni/Alumna

Everyone at the college is super supportive and helpful. Senior students never even act as seniors. They never show their superiority and are there for us whenever any help is needed. They're just like elder siblings.

Admission

I got in through cutoff that is released by the University of Delhi colleges every year. The merit list consists of different courses as well categories for 70+ colleges of the University. Once a cutoff is released, three days are given to aspiring students to reserve a seat for themselves. A number of cutoffs are released every year, and a candidate can change their college if they get a college of their choice in the next list.

Faculty

5

I think that the faculty of my college is highly educated from respected colleges all over the country, even abroad. Some of the teachers of my department are from my college itself, and it feels great to see what heights they've achieved in their lives just because they were in a college like KMC. The faculty is very supportive and open minded. They're liberal and non conventional in their mindsets.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
