Course Curriculum Overview

Cse has different departments like Ai, Ml,etc Whichever anyone can choose but i took only Cse and got the job . It is good for every work and you can choose data science like specification for your job profile

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 96000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fee is 96000/- per year Including Everything And Hostel fee is 9000 per year. It will not increase In anyway. Sc/St students get plenty of Scholarships upto 70000 per year And General Students get 20000 per year with a Valid Income Certificate upto 2L Family income.

Campus Life

Campus life was great, no Ragging is allowed and strictly followed also. There are 4 Clubs And for each of them different secretary are being elected every year and every thing is good and well. You can enjoy your life with Studies.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms Available Are like 4 Sharing, 3 Sharing And 1 Sharing but single sharing room are only for final year students and 3/4 Sharing Rooms are for everyone. Meal quality is totally low and the price is also low as 40/meal registration process is just smooth and its a single paper process. Local rental rooms will cost you at least 4k per month.

Hostel Fee: INR 9000 per year

Admission

This college is a government institution that was my first preference to take admission and lesser education courses fee which made me take admission into this university . For placement point of view it's totally not worth of Taking admission here.

Faculty

There are total 8 semesters in 4 Years and each semester contains 2 internal exams of each 15 Marks And semester Of 60 Marks which includes 10 Assignment Marks. In total 100 Marks per Paper in which 30 Marks is the passing marks.

Night Life

One gym is available inside the campus only but it's charged extra from your course fee because it's a private operated gym. 2 Library are Available, Lots of public area available inside the campus to have a moment in the evening after classes. College classes ends at 5pm usually but hostel timing changes in every season like in winter it's 5:30pm for girls and 8pm for boys but in summer it's 7pm for girls and 9-10pm for boys. There is a hill top to spend some time inside the campus / university. It's totally not safe after 10pm to roam here and there in Sambalpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

Value for Money Education in Rourkela

applied to a few colleges under Sambalpur University for B.Com including some private institutes in Rourkela. I selected Rourkela College because the fee structure is affordable and the college has a decent reputation for Commerce courses. The location is also convenient for me, which saves time and makes daily travel easier. The admission process was completely merit-based through the SAMS Odisha online portal. After submitting the CAF form, the seat was allotted on the basis of my 12th percentage. The process was smooth and there were no unnecessary requirements like entrance exams or donations. Cutoff was reasonable, so admission felt fair for everyone. Compared to private colleges, Rourkela College offers more value for the money. The faculty is experienced and the academic environment is disciplined. Facilities may not be very modern, but the teaching quality and learning atmosphere are strong enough to help students build a good foundation for future career or higher studies.
