Honestly, you'll have fun for 4 years and learn things too while getting a degree. But the quality of engineering taught here is not what you might have always wanted. But then it's not much different than other engineering colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
The earlier you choose your field, the more things are more sorted. I've seen students who even after passing out are confused which filed to choose which just builds up the frustration. As I have already said course gives you the basics, you need to take measures and learn further.
Placement Experience
Hardly any of the colleges affiliated to Mumbai University provides any internship to the students. But EXTC department of SCOE has a MOU signed with Reliance Jio this year. So under the MOU, students are provided internships with Reliance Jio without any stipend(not needed though)
College Events
All college events are celebrated in the college for students as well as faculties right from Diwali, Holi, Freshers, Annual Fest, RFP, Garba Night, Days for Students, Teachers day, Ganpati Aagman and few more are executed and celebrated within college along with NSS & Rotaract Club having few more.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees per year certainly seems a bit much for the experience you get here. Also because there are a lot of things you have to pay for apart from the official college fees. The fees per year during my time was around 95k per year. There are committees and events in the college for which you've to pay for yourself. The college provides nothing.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, availed TFWS scholarship scheme which I was eligible as my annual Income was below 6Lakh and my marks were good for the merit of the seat.
Campus Life
The days spent in college from the very first day were joyful especially all the cultural events and the faculty of the computer department is the best at It. The whole journey was amazing, enjoying college with friends. The faculty members from the department helped a lot throughout the carrier.
Alumni/Alumna
It was a good interaction with the alumni that visited the college. They shared their experience with us.
Admission
After the results of MH-CET were out, we got the notification of filling the online application for admissions. The admission procedure was pretty smooth though. They had facility centers in every city (usually 2-3 in each). You need to fill the form at the facility centers only. After a week or so the first list was declared. By the way, there are three merit lists The third list is a counseling round which is conducted at Aurangabad. After your name appears on the list, you need to go to the respective college within three days.
Faculty
The faculties(EXTC) are very good with in-depth knowledge of the subjects they teach. Earlier new professors used to come and go. But know the situation seems to be changed a bit. They support the students with every possible means. Had I not mentioned the EXTC department is very strict about attendance(75%)
