Positive Thing About the College is, the Campus is so free that there are no strict rules to be followed. Since it is the top college in TamilNadu, You get access to highly advanced Technologies ,better Learning. You will be trained to score high marks in competitive exams like GATE. Also regarding the Placement, you will be placed for sure if you have atleast the basic Knowledge. The negative thing is that noone here care about what you do whether you get pass or not. It's up-to you to gain knowledge in the Campus. Other than that there are no negative issues.

There are 8 semesters for Engineering Under Graduate and 4 Semesters for Post Graduate. For Undergraduate the Course Curriculum is updated every 5years.Now they are following 2015 Curriculum. The subjects are advanced and are updated in every Curriculum. For every Semesters there are two assessments and you have to get pass marks in every exams conducted. There is a Final year Project which is taken seriously. There are laboratory Classes for each Semester. Each semester exam is conducted between 6 Months.

The Placements are nearly 100%.This is the Top College in TamilNadu For various Courses. As it is a branch of Anna University, every month nearly 20 Companies recruit for all batches including Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Infosys, Ashok Leland, Hyundai, Mahindra and other top companies around India. Our College does not provide any Internships for UnderGraduate. But they help in getting Internships in many companies like CitiCorp, RoyalEnfield, Zoho,AshokLeland and many other companies.

There are two main Cultural Fests Celebrated in our Campus. One in the odd Semester 'Sivaranjani ' and other in the Even semester 'Mitafest'. Other than that every department conduct two symposiums in every odd and even semesters. Some of them are even National Level and have a high Value. There are many many Clubs and Crews in our Campus including YRC,NSS,NSO and they conduct various events in every semester.

The College Fee is very Less Comparitive to other colleges. Since it is a Government College, the fee for each Semester range from Rs.4000-10000 depending upon the Branches. There are two category in each department,Regular and Self-supporting. Self-supporting batch get double time the fee of Regular Batch.

There are many Scholarships provide for almost all the students of our Campus. There are many Government Scholarships provided based on Community, Marks and talent. There other Scholarships provided by various Private Institutions for our College Students who score First mark in every Department. For Sc/ST they provide nearly 3 Scholarships each year for all students. Iam availing Community Based Government Scholarship every year. But they don't provide any type of Loan for Students.

There are Many Laboratories in our Campus. Nearly 10 Laboratory for Mechanical Streams and nearly 20 Computer Labs. Each department have a Computer Lab where Students can access any time for free. The Laboraties have new technologies and are updated Evey year based on the Technology. Now they are even Constructing a new Project Centre for the first time in TamilNadu for Automotive and Automobile Industry. There is a large Ground for Sports in our Campus where Zonal level and Other Sports are Also conducted. There are BallBadminton, Five Badminton, Volleyball, BasketBall Courts available. HandBall ,Kabaddi,Cricket and Athletics are the major Sports in our College. There are well trained professional Coaches for every Sports.

The Hostel is available for two Category people. NRI and Regular students. From Regular Students the fee range between Rs.25000-30000 from every semester which include MessFood, Room and other benefits. For NRI it range between Rs.45000-55000 for every semester. The Hostel provide Provisional Store, Laundry, Free Wi-Fi and TV services.

The major Positive thing about the College is the Senior-Junior Relationship. There is a strong bond between Senior and Junior. Evey Year Alumni Meet is conducted to create a bond between the alumnus. The senior Students are so helpful in getting Jobs, Learning Subjects, in conducting Symposiums and in every aspects.

Based on our 12th Cut-off Marks, we will be called for Counselling process from Engineering in Anna University. I got second day Morning Batch Counselling. I chose Automobile Engineering in MIT as it was my interest and it was available that time. To join this College your Cut-Off marks should be between 192-200 for general Category. My Cut-Off is 198. So I got easily.

The Faculty are so experienced and have great Knowledge. They select the Faculty in a many process requirement through competitive exams. All the Faculty must hold two degrees including a master degree. Only well experienced and talented persons are selected as Faculty.
