Likes
- I like how my collge is well structure and maintained. All the buildings are equipped with air conditioning and a room for studetns is also made with air conditioning
- The students are provided with seperate hostel for both boys and girls with 2 students in one room which is large and spacious
- The students are free to choose their own roomates and change their roomate and the follwing year.
Dislikes
- The hectic schedule of my college. The classes begin from 9 am and sometimes extend upto 6pm
Course Curriculum Overview
The special aspect of the curriculum is the internship break provided by the college to the students to learn the practical aspects and apply the things learned in the classroom. Being a law students the subjects taught are practical and practically applicable in real world.
Placement Experience
The placement of my college is not great when compared to other national law university but still better than some private colleges. Companies such as Trilegal, Argus has visited our college to recruit students. Though I plan on pursuing judiciary.
Fees and Financial Aid
I pay nearly 2 lakhs fees for the course I am enrolled in. This fees is inclusive of tuition fees and hostel fees wherein the tuition fees is near about 90k and the hostel fees is about 1 lakh. The fees provided is yearly and not on montly and semester basis. The students of different category enjoy different benefits such as student of SC/ST have to pay comparatively less fees than other students amonting to be nearly about 1.3 lakhs including both tuition and hostel.
Campus Life
I am not dissatisfied with my campus life, because i keep myslef busy with event such as competition namely moot competition, arbitration, sports, cultutral events. I am a member of moot court society which is tasked with hosting national level moot competition.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are better when compared to many other hostels. All the floors are eqipped with wifi and water cooler with cold water available 24/7. The water never runs out and there are generally no power cuts and even if there are the generator is immediated turned on.
Admission
I applied to certain other colleges but I did not opt them because they were private and charged more than the current college. The other college has practically more students and numerous batches making one on one interaction with the teacher difficult
Faculty
The faculty are easy to approach and very helpful and solving the students problems when approached. I like th faculty who interact with student more and value the input provided by the students all while mainting the boundary of professionalism. The exams are a subject a thing but the protion feels overburdening and overwhelming while preparing for exam for both the mid sems and the end sems. The number of students failing are very low
Night Life
There is no life night since the rules regarding the closing of main gate and hostels are strict. The main gate as well as the hostels close by 10pm and since the college is located in the outskirts of the city it is dangerous to walk around.
