Review of GSMCOE

Positive- College supports us in everything. Negative- No parking shade. Bikes are in sun.

The curriculum is quite good. Could be better. It’s average. We need to study 6 units for every semester examination. We have vivas and practical examinations every semester end. At the end of the year, aggregate marks are considered.

Since the last few years, the placement structure of our college has been improved a lot due to the new principal and directors. I really don’t know about the internship thing as I'm yet to go to third year. So I don’t know much about it.

There is an annual event called ‘Umang’ where all the students of our college take part in various competitions and events. Other sports events are also held throughout the year. The college is very generous to celebrate every tiny to major festival in college. Like Ganesh chaturthi, holi, Shivaji jayanti, etc.

It is very feasible. As compared to other institutes. The fee structure is quite impressive and the facilities provided are quite good. The also let us pay in instalments. The understand the financial condition of students who live in hostels came from other states.

The college provides different scholarships for students of ever cast. They help us fill forms and etc. loan is not offered by college. We have to get it from some bank. Free seats for best scoring students is also available.

Sports, dance, acts, etc is held every year. Only students is required. Everything else will be provided. Labs of my college are great! Latest cpu and monitors are provided. Everything is close to perfection.

No i have not. But i know the hostels are quite good. But only girls hostel is there.

Senior students are very helpful. They support is in everything from daily life to exams. Ragging is prohibited in our college. And is strictly monitored.

I took the CET and scored the minimum required marks. Applied for 30 colleges. GSMCOE was on the 3rd number in this list. I was allotted to this institution. Later had to go there to submit my documents and pay the admission fee. The process was hassle free.

Faculty of my college is quite supportive. The are always there to clear their student’s doubts. They never skip important topics. They try their best to make us understand the complicated computer related topics.
