Course Curriculum Overview
The course work is very good and covers all basics, but we don't have standard handbook to follow. We have to get books from library and use them. It would be very helpful if they provided notes and Materials for all subjects
Internships Opportunities
I have done 2 interships in my period, one I have done a 3month intership in a company named Ganga Assosiates and 2month intern in a company in Coimbatore named Thalir Automations. The college will help you get internship also.
Placement Experience
The college placement cell is very helpful and active though out the final year, They will try their best to get you placed. Many companies will come for placements, On average totally 50% got placed till now. The average package is 6LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
My college fee is around ?63,000 for odd semester and ?16000 for even semester, totally it will come around ?70000-80000 . For management courses, we have to pay donation during admission it will around 15L , then tution fees will come around 1.5L per year.
Campus Life
The students Union will conduct 2 big events annually, in which Kriya is the intercollege technical event. The college also have 30 clubs and 20 associations, the sports facilities are also good and have big playground.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel food was so good and it have high speed wi-fi connection, they also have entertainment room with TV and study room and library. The hostel fee will come around 1L . I have been staying near college in a rental house.
Admission
I applied to more than 5 top colleges in Tamil Nadu, through TN engineering Counselling, I selected this college, because of its brand value and Good placements. If you have good cut-off of more than 180 then you have better chance of getting into our college
Faculty
The faculty to student Ratio is very high 1:60 , some faculties are very jovial and helpful but some are very strict, you have to be careful with them. There are 2 internal exam per semester and one final exam.
Night Life
If you opted in for Hostel, you have to be in the hostel within 9.30pm , but you can go anywhere in daytime, the college is located in the city centre, there are various malls , theatre and restaurant nearby.
