Remarks
Our college is located in a prime location which makes it easily accessible. It has all amenities inside the college. Very friendly staff and good curriculum. We aren't allowed to even take our phones out. So only that is a major negative. We have an amazing canteen. MOP Bazaar is the best thing to bring out the Entrepreneur in you.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is actually really perfect. Good set of subjects that go along well. We have Two Internal Assessments and a final Exam for every Semester. A maximum of 5 papers per semester. We also had projects and internships.
Placement Experience
There are Alot of companies who come for Campus Placements. There is an average 80% guaranteed placements. Eventhough our tenure in college is over. They still send us information regarding off campus drives. I got placed through college in EY and it is amazing.
College Events
MOP is known for its cultural activities. It's the best. We have Alot of fun activities like Jhankar,Shringar,Abhilasha,Mop Bazaar,and Alot more. We all are encouraged to participate and there are no restrictions.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible and they provide enough time to pay the fee. They have an indoor bank office for deposits. It ranges around 30000 for a Semester which is pretty much the trend in and around Chennai.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not sure about Loan facility but Scholarship facility is provided for students who have a family income less than 150000 a year. We are asked every semester if there is someone in that category to avail scholarship.
Campus Life
We have everything in our college. Our course has only the need to use a Computer Lab. We have very little play space and sports is not for everyone. Sure there are chances where you could take part in the Sports day. But mainly sports is for Students who have joined exclusively for that.
Alumni/Alumna
Not sure about that yet. I have just passed out. Until now we have a alumni network and we get informed in it. The seniors and we don't have a proper connect. But whatever is currently existing is helpful.
Admission
I was selected based on my marks. It was a little hard because there were Alot of people in the same category as me. I had to push it a bit by constantly visiting the college and pressurising them as to when the list will be updated.
Faculty
They are very helpful and supportive. They teach what is required. They are new teachers recruited every semester and they are really good. They come on time and leave on time. They give importance to teaching as well as other activities.
