The infrastructure is nice and well maintained
The faculty is actually nice and friendly
The college actually dont focus on the curriculum only they also provide opportunities fromt the frist year itself

Dislikes

The college mainly focuses on functions than on studies equally
The dont have enough campus for all the students
The parking and campus is not that wide we've to park vehicles on our own risk somewhere outside the college

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I'm persuing is a nice course and it is not a course which is provided by all the college. I'm persuing for Bachelors of Multimedia and Mass Communication and my college is known for this course and i would suggest too if you're interested in this course

Class Size: 130Course Fees: INR 49500 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many internship provided in the college. tmIf someone is looking for an internship from the first year itself or someone wants to earn to do their expenses the college will provide you that and help you grow.

Placement Experience

The placements are actually good and they're providing opportunities throughout the year and also has a nice placement records and percentage. If you're looking for a nice job from the course you're interested this is the college you should look after.

Fees and Financial Aid

9My fees is paid in two halfs. The first time the amount was pais was 19,500 RS and the second amount to be paid is 20000K There is no such fees deduction for reservation category and the fees is actually average as per a college in mumbai

Campus Life

The campus life is actually good, the crowd of mumbai and the people here are well behaved. Everyone is so interactive and also provides a nice social involvement and many more throughout the year in the campus

Admission

I chose this course because I'm interested in Marketing and Animations, Vfx, Graphics Designing. The course is likely not so common in people and not provided by most of the colleges and my college is one of the best among the colleges who are providing this course and the placements are actually good. I'm a first year student and have got an internship at Hookfish App

Faculty

The insight of the faculty member are not that public in between the students There are many courses provided by the college in which I'm doing BAMMC but the college also provides Bsc IT BCom BMM Law Couses

Night Life

The life is fast its a college in mumbai so it is fast. People from my college do enjoy the night life and also chilling and partying sometimes. Most of the students got their pwn groups so they chill within their groups and make plans.

College for students who wanna Hustle

Course Curriculum Overview:

the timings are great for students who wanna work while studying, but that only starts in the SY because in FY there are lectures from 10 to 1, that will give youll time to enjoy as a student, where as in SY n TY lectures will be from 7 to 9

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate 6 out of 10 because the syllabus it has old information. The special aspect of the curriculum is about branding, strategy use to make strong brand in the market. The area for improvement in these curriculum is to provide student the proper software for technical or practical subjects. (like photoshop, indesign, etc.)

I chose this course because I want to be in the film industry. I want to become an actor. This course helps us to get aware of all the media industries. Be it films or television or even radio. Now, there are even more fields such as Public Relations and Event Management. There is an almost equal number of girls and boys. The faculty have industry experience and are well-spoken. They help us in each and every way possible. The use of presentations and modules is common. The learning process is fun and easy. The examinations are conducted in a semester pattern. There are a total of 6 semesters that are conducted on time. The syllabus covers a wide range of topics such as communication, films, photography, etc.

Placement Experience:

Form third year students become eligible for campus placement. Many reputed companies like times of India hindustan times visited our college and got various students selected based on their caliber. The average package here is a around 5-10 Lakh per annum. Only those students who are talented enough for any post get selected for particular job. I'm planning to do a internship in popular media House.

Remarks:

KJ Somaiya College is a very huge college and has a perfect system of everything. Proud to be a student of this college. They have extra curricular activities cultural forum fests and much more. They also have outdoor Games, athlete ground, hostels, 7 to 8 canteens. The teaching system is quite good they have compulsory 75% of attendance.

TCSC is tremendous!

Admission was on 12th score as cut-off for Maharashtra board students was 78% and for other boards if from Maharashtra it was 84%. For OMS (Outside Maharashtra) it was 88%. So I was in that 84 % bracket and made it just by edge as mine was 86%. Nearly 300 seats and over 30k students compete for that....Read More
