Course Curriculum Overview

This it the college is best in the south campus and even better than many north campus colleges. The curriculum prepares the students for real world applications. The exams are conducted in odd semesters during December and January while in even semester during April and may.

Internships Opportunities

I am not aware of such programs and opportunities offered by the college as I am a fresher and still there a lot for me to learn about this college. However the seniors have praised this college a lot of times in terms of internship opportunities and placement rates

Fees and Financial Aid

I have 20000 of money as my total fees to take admission in this college . If you belong to categories like sc,st you will have to pay less than people who are in general category. My batchmates fees also differ from mine .

Campus Life

This college is really famous for it's annual events. It is usually help in March where celebrities perform. The last it was the famous Bollywood singer Mohit Chauhan who performed in the event. The college provides facilities for almost every sport such as football basketball cricket tennis table tennis and many more

Admission

Before getting the chance of getting admission in this college I had the chance to take admission in Shaheed Bhagat Singh college and Sri Aurobindo college but I rejected both of them as soon I got the chance to join Sri Venkateswara college. To get admission in this college you need to give an exam called cuet which is totally a multiple choice questions exam .

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is around 1:50. The faculty members are really helpful here. The best faculty I have met till now is financial accounting. The faculty that I don't like is business law faculty it feels like they are forced to teach this subject.

Night Life

The nightlife around the campus area is really fun . People here are so fashionable which let us improve our dressing sense too There are a lot of gyms around the area However it is may not safe to hang out during late night not only for girls but for boys too.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
