Remarks
If you are interested in PGDM in finance then only goto this college because this is only taught over there so basically you can’t switch after one year. But yes after 2 year in BKFS you will become master in it. There is trimester so there will be lots of exam.
Course Curriculum Overview
One of the finest course structure in BKFS. Two year pgdm is dominated by finance. The course is titled towards FRM then CFA. All kind of risk will be covered in big detail from market risk , credit risk , operational risk or ALM.
Placement Experience
There is 100% placement offered till date by the institute and most probably it will continue to do so. Due to it’s course structure, faculty contact and alumni base. Current average lies between 9.5 to 10LPA. Minimum offered was 6.5LPA. Yes summer internship is provided by college. Stipends depends upon the company.
College Events
Same like every b-school NIBM too host lots of events during the tenure. Every festival is celebrated initiative taken by cultural committee and rest types of events are made by fest committee except an Alumni meet which is by Alumni committee
Fee Structure And Facilities
Being RBI’s college fee is reasonable Return on Investment is quite good as we had paid 10lakh fees and i had other expenses during PGDM. So including everything it costed me lesser than 2lakh so i can say it is feasible also bank will give you easy loan.
Fees and Financial Aid
Vidyasarthi scholarship is there and college also provide scholarships for the students who are good at study and having low income backgrounds. The amount college reduces in you fees bill of 2lakh overall.
Campus Life
There is sports committee making every season special with some kind of sports and games. Other committees also come up with there event it may be from any committee like literary,media,fest and many more
Hostel Facilities
This is an residential 2 year PGDM program so yes i have lived there. And it was amazing to be there. You will be in the city but once you will come to campus everything becomes green. You will be allotted flats on random basis which is sharing mostly.
Alumni/Alumna
Old Alumni are majorly in PSU some of them are who opted for private are on great heights and they keep on helping every time asked for. You can easily get in touch and they will help you back.Seniors is the reason you will easily succeed in this college. Alone it’s will be tough to do well.
Admission
First given Cat exam them shortlisted for Written ability test and Personal interview round. Then Merit list was released! My name was there so got admission. One can get admission through cat, xat and cmat.
Faculty
Quality of faculty is very fine because they are same people who make research for RBI or train the bank professional. With that much of knowledge when they come for PGDM there quality becomes very specific and special.
