If one wants to get a placement in good MNCs then it is the best college to study in because more than 300 companies visit the IIT campus. On the other hand, if one wants to go abroad to study, even though this college is best.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is based on the overall expertise of subjects which were part of B.TECH co urse. Also, the course curriculum contains a personality improvement program so as to focus on getting placements directly from college.
Placement Experience
Placement and internship opportunities are very much high in IIT BOMBAY, among all the institutes in India. There are companion programs starting from the pre-final year which give enough time and training for selection in companies.
College Events
There are innumerable events taking place on the campus of IIT Bombay. Techfest, cultural fest, sports fest are some of the major events which include participants not only from their own college but also attracts participants from all over India and Asia.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very feasible. Fees are very low among the different iits also. A major portion of fees is vested in name of tuition fees, which is around 20000 for one semester. Apart from this whole fee is around 25000 per semester without mess and hostel.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship is offered by the ministry of human resource department after qualifying for GATE and taking admission in the M.TECH course which is approximately 12,400 per month for a duration of 2 years. The loan facility is also available at iit Bombay Canara bank branch.
Campus Life
Sports infrastructure is very good at IIT Bombay. The institute has cricket, football, hockey stadiums as well as indoor badminton, lawn tennis courts. also, various tournaments are organized at the level of the hostel, inter-college, and inter IIT.
Alumni/Alumna
The Alumni network is very rich and varied in nature. Alumni association meetings are organized regularly. Also, senior students give advice for competitive exams like IAS, Engineering services, CAT, XAT, etc during college sessions.
Admission
After securing a good rank in GATE 2017, I applied for M.Tech admission in IIT BOMBAY. Firstly there was a written test, only 60 out of 200 qualified, followed by an Interview, and then the final result came.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is very rich in academics having very high qualifications from highly reputed colleges and universities across the world. Their expertise is proven by the exercises they give to students.
