Remarks
The infrastructure would fall under a positive aspect of our college. The alumni and the study materials needs to be improved. The standard of academics needs improvement as well. More emphasis on English language should be given.
Course Curriculum Overview
At that point in time Marketing was backdated. Then came Digital Marketing. Would have been glad if more influence on digital marketing was emphasized taking into consideration the forecast of the global market.
Placement Experience
Placements were mostly into BPO sector. The college placement cell is more focused into calling up companies from outsourcing sectors for placements across the country. However the overall interview experience was pretty good and well decorated.
College Events
The college social was a renowned event Even ex- students had an opportunity to visit the campus during that event. Performances related to singing and dancing took place. However, there was nothing much offered when it came to food or drinks.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Quite feasible, though higher than that of Calcutta University. Students from all classes of a family background would not hesitate to get admitted with a fees structure as feasible as this. Can be paid in a monthly manner.
Campus Life
Well, there was a computer lab. And the science building ofcourse had zoology labs and botany labs. There were boys who were engaged in sports. However, not much of an emphasis was given to sports for regular students.
Hostel Facilities
I had not opted for a hostel, neither dis the college provide any such facilities. The students were mostly localites.
Admission
Applied through a registration form. Online application was also available. Drenched in queues to submit the form with all the details of prior academics. Waited for the merit list and got nominated in the very first list itself. Had applied for Bachelors in Commerce - Marketing Hons.
Faculty
The faculty were very theory driven. Practical classes needs to be emphasized more often so as to keep the students engaged in a subject or topic. However, they were pretty knowledgeable. Study notes were more reliable, perhaps.
