Let's talk about IIT (ISM) Dhanbad

As I love core so I chose ECE as my subject and this is good course having a bright future. They have practicals of subjects which held every week for the concepts we learnt in class. I think the teaching style is good but if the faculties will focus more on students in class then that will matter a lot but that is I think impractical. The difficulty of exam is good and you can crack it if you study about the notes tutorials and class.

As I am in first year so I don't know much about the internship opportunities but the internship opportunities are there so many students in internshhip got Pre placement offers and they enjoy it means there are so many projects you can do one of our seniors went to china in taiwan for robotics as internship.

The placement of my college is good and there is always improvement as like this year the placements increased. The company that visited is tata, Google Microsoft etc... Highest package last year was 60 lpa and this year it was 66lpa, in my course the average package is about 23 to 25 lpa. Good placements of students most of them for placed...

In semester 1 inhave paid over 37000 and in 2nd semester I have paid 27 thousand. Tution fees is not for sc/st students so I have not paid the tution fees, message or hostel fee is about 18000 and the rest one is of for different purposes. Other category students have to pay extra amount as tution fees about 1 lakh. Merit cum scholarship is there for non category students that will make the tution fees off for the students... Or atleast make some percentage of concession.

The college experience is good you can feel that you are in college having good environment. You can have access to. So many books in the library classrooms are so good.having amartboards and projectors in the classroom for the class and there are so many clubs cultural and technical and sports you can join them and the best club in technical field is cyberlabs and roboism and Fintech etc... You can try in these clubs...

Hostel facility is good having good water supply have vending machines for snacks, have message in the hostel in the rooms 2 tubelights and a fan a window and a table one almirah in amber hostel of you go in aquamarine it is the best hostel I thing good facilities are there. In amber hostel 4 blocks are there A B C D and total residents in the hostel are 1600.

I applied to other colleges like other iits above this having good place menta than this iit. I got selected for many colleges but I want q good college with good branch so I chose this college. I didn't get a rejection from other college as in the councelling process the college i appointed is this college. I got entered in the college through jee advanced. You can also come just study hard and crack jee....

The faculties are too good they support and help students faculties are approachable as well and you can either email them or meet them when they are in there office or after the class. The exam system is like that we have 2 quiz of 20 marks and one mid semester exam of 30 to 32 marks and one end semester exam of 48 to 50 marks.. that may vary. Total two exams are there mid sem and end sem and overall difficulty of exam is good means if you study.

Inside the campus there are dominos, barista,mezbaan and have a hanging spot RD (ramdhani tea shop) you have a main canteen and so many different places you can visit and hangout as I have not been in the dhanbad so I don't know other spots but if you go outside the campus you will get a panipuri stall just outside and there is also a samosa shop outside you can go if you are a panipuri and samosa lover....
