The life of satisfied student at VIT-AP

The exams might seem tough now because taking placements into considerations they made changes they wanted the curriculum relevant to the outside world for students to gain all the necessary skills they added project component as mandatory to the specialized courses and they update the curriculum every year.well they do try to teach well nu few fac are stuck at old tesching methods which has to change because its hard to understand the notes they provide and sometimes references are not enough and youtube doesnt always right.

i became eligible for placements from 6th semester and few comapnies include accenture, microsoft, delloite, google, wells fargo, likedIn and many more to list here. And for us its internships as i am in th semester. And i cant say about packages but the these companies i liste are giving a stifund ranging fromm60k to 130k per month . Well as per my senios 94 percent of students got placed. The average package lies around 5 to 6 lakhs. I plan to do job for 2 years and do masters in automation and ml from an iit by writing gate .

Well i have written VITEEE and got a rank around 13k and got into vit ap with a category 1 seat which is 2lakhs (198000 ) per year for 4 years. And there are 4 categories each one will have a rise of 1 lakh from base 2 lakhs. Cat 2 is 3 lakh, cat 3 is 4 lakh and so on.. And u have to pay 5000 as caution fee and u need not pay for anything other than academic fee eveyrhing is covered under this. If u opt out for hostel or bus u have to pay extra the highest of bus fee per annum is 50k inr. And hostel ranges from 80k to 180k depending on type of room and mess. Our clg has a star program by which a govt clg ranker can join vit clg with free seat and the clg gives laptops too .

we have 2 fests that are worthy to note here first is a cultural fest VITopia and second is a technical fest VTAPP and they are really good. we enjoy a lot in the night of cultural one with dj's soudnin so high. Well we will have the textbooks for The courses are available in the adequate amount and there is a reference section where we can find the reference books that are listed in our course curicculum. And there are a wide range of magazines and journals we can also find some novels and self help books too. the classes are equipped with a white marker board and projectors for faculty to use and we can give attendance via bimoetrics fixed to the wall. ANd the 80 percentage attendance is mandatory. Well we have wide range of sports too like basket ball, volley ball, chess, badminton, table tennis, and carroms and few more. but only from 4 pm . Well as per my opinion clubs are boring mostly except for mo tech clubs they are quite refershing with their events.

i applied to colleges like gitam ,srm, sathyabhama,vit etcetra well i got a seat in every one of em . But i chose vit over others because in the end all i want is skills and placements and i am financially poor taking all of these into considerations vit-ap seemed like a best option. i wrote VITEEE an extrance exam for our college in which i got 13k rank an got admission in category 1 with a fee of 2lakh per year. And admission process is completely online. I got the mail to the portel in which i gave my top 3 choices in course and branch and i got what i wanted. Well gitam got local political influence and drugs and srm has high fee for its inferior standards to that of vit.and sathyabama too the same issue.

Eaxh faculty might hold around 40 students according to what i heard . Well there are faculty who are friendly but there are some who are very strict i heard a thing from a friend who stays in a pg his classes complete by noon on 3 days a week and he said he wanted to go to room when he got no classes . But his fac mentor(each student is assigned with a mentor) didn't approve even if hos parent are okay with it. I cant list the names of fac but i liked my chemistry fac because he gave us chocolates and not only just the subject but he also taught us things other than subject u can call him guide for life. I never like my computer networks fac gopi sir his classes are boring and sleepy i scored worse and he never cared and says i cant give more . We have 2 mid exams called cat and 1 sem exam called fat and 30 weightage for internals . And lab components are calculated separately with absolute grading above 90 s; 80-90 A ...upto F is fail So better we score above 55 in lab . If we fail in lab we have to take pay for theory and lab both to do the subject. Which is 6k and i never failed a subject. And its easy if u really care to study.

we do have a gym which is paid 1200 per month and library has a capcity of more than 650 and a lot of books which is open from 9 to 5 on mondays and 9 to 7:30 on regular days . I am a day shcolar so for me its from 9 to 6 moslty and if needed i can stay till 7 30.well we can hangout in uvs mushroom boxes foodstreet and lot more places in clg but ouside naah they have to go to vijayawada to have the req fun. From what i heard night life is fun ppl go out fior walks in clg and they can play games , and talk ,,do stuff like eating chilling and all.
