Course Curriculum Overview

The teaching methods of faculty is good. The curriculum that influenced this particular course is that, my aim is to do work in a marketing firm and do business in future. The management must focus on syllabus since the syllabus is so hectic

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fee is about 80000rs maximum. Here per semester it cost 38000rs in odd semester and the remaining half amount in even semester. I didn't apply for any scholarships in all these years. Sometimes they collect fee for any such kind of programs to conduct for students of Stella Maris College

Campus Life

Overall college I would star 4.8 out of 5 . The infrastructure of our college is very beautiful and retro in nature. College conducts various programs for every departments and has won many prizes both inter and intra college cultural events

Admission

The reason why I joined and applied to this particular college since the College is a Christian institution and my parents were forced to join me in this college. During admissions in different colleges, every college were to cast and community that's were I got rejected

Faculty

70:30. Faculties of our department is so approachable when we need some help from them. My favourite faculties are Nithya Mam and Jyothi Mam, they both are very kind in nature to every students. Exams are easy in continuous assessment but not in semester exams

Night Life

Gym is allowed for hostellers after college hours. Cafeteria,library and other public area is closed after college hours. Roaming around the campus is safe for every students. Hostel timings you should ask to hostel students. During night college pretty good when the lights are on

Best friendly college with quality education

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect will be accounting that made me choose this couse. The curriculum made me to prepare for future accounting field works and knowledge around the field. The improvements that I suggest may is to add more relevent real life job experience in subject books itself. As per me who is one of a topper student in my college, The difficulty is moderate to me and timing of exams are more enough to fill all the questions.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students get campus placements. Highest ever is 80LPA i think from deloit or KMG. Mostly students get placements about 75% get placements. My plan after getting degree is clear CA inter and finals.

A view on recent days MCC

Placement Experience:

In MCC there is placement but it's not 100% placement, only 10 to 20 from a class of 60 gets placed, so when it comes to placement it's upto to you and your skills. Normaly the placement enrollment starts at beginning of your 5th semester or end of your fourth semester, you can opt for placement or higher study. The highest package was from Standard Chartered & Deloitte it was 6 Lakhs CTC. Accenture, TCS and some well known companies will participate in placement drive. The average package will be Rs.3.5 Lakhs CTS. I'm planning to go for higher studies while doing a part time job after getting degree.

From the 5th semester onwards the management made various efforts to conduct oncampus And they made it. Some companies which visited our campus is tata groups , vindhya e infomedia, wipro etc. Highest package offered is 3,00,000 per annum most probably 80 % of students placed. My plan after degree is to place in good reputed company.

From the 4th semester exam, the student is eligible for a placement campus interview. In our college, mega campus interview happen and all south college students participated in our college campus interview Some campus interview companies are LIC, Muthoid finance, and HDFC. 20% of people were selected in campus interviews. After my degree, I going to do CA intermediate exam and attend some government exams.

Positive is good atmosphere and campus Negative is we can’t enjoy the campus because whenever we cut a class the department cut our international mark and we can’t write exam without 75% mark

Why stella is my second home

My first choice was wcc thinking it would be a non strict college but i didn't get in but got admitted in stella maris college.
