Course Curriculum Overview

3

Alot of people need support who are suffering from mental health. More mental health professionals, less tabboo the topic will be. The curriculum is good but can be improved alot with basic concepts and knowledge. Basic topic, future topics, job opportunities. There are class tests as well in the college, soo the students have back to back exams in between we have to attend lecture and study for it as well, events if any. It becomes hectic for students.

Fees and Financial Aid

17,000 per year. (7800 in one semester) The fees for the students who have came outside of the city have more fees that the locals. No placements or internship are given. There are placement cells but not helpful.

Campus Life

1

If talking about the clubs, we have a psychology club which is very active and entertaining. There are no such college fests or activity accept a few. In total there maybe 3-4 events in the whole year, which are not entertaining and we have to pay for them as well.

Admission

The fees of the college was very inexpensive. It was very close to where I stay, soo it helps with travelling and commute. The fees for other colleges were out of my budget and far away from where I stay. There are no exams, you can do an online admission or go to the admission department nthe college. It is quite easy. No cut-offs.

Faculty

3

Some of the faculties are not very supportive and kind. Often face partiality. The new facility for psychology department is good. Saloni :- she used to teach one of the psychology subjects in Second year and was very mean also labelled a student with ADHD without knowing about her. Does partiality. Malini :- always rude, and does partiality, didn't conduct any lecture in the whole 1st year (3-4 max). Doesn't help with any issues of students.

Night Life

3

There are alot of street food available around the college but except that no such good options. We usually hang out in the college of we get any class to sit or we go out to eat and chill near our friends' PG. I don't know much about the night life as I don't stay near the college.

Other Applied Colleges

Fergusson College | Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Psychology)

It was too far from my home.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Quite substandard and below average. Prioritised rote learning over critical thinking. Just a rubber stamp for a degree. No actual education ever took place. Exams were anually or bi annually. Exams were difficult if you cannot write 30 pages in 3 hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.

Yes, there is no specific place where we get to know that whether the college is open or not on a specific day like the day which has been declared closed by the government. The college doesn’t provide this facility for us. We have to move all towards our home to the college to get this thing.
