Ramjas College

As compared to other colleges, Ramjas has a good infrastructure (not as good as private universities). The hostel facility and capacity of it can be improved as very less students get hostel. Overall the college is good.

Course Curriculum is good which deals with the basic concepts of commerce. Exam structure followed by DU is CBCS in which you have 6 semesters in B.com course with 4 subjects in each semester , totalling 3 years.

Placements and Job opportunities are very well co-ordinated. There is a dedicated placement cell which is run by the students itself which help in placements and also provide internships. The experience is good , we get to learn new things and overall average stipend is between 5,000-10,000.

There are different societies that are run by the students. Other than a 3 day college annual fest , these societies also conducts their annual fests during which they organise various kinds of competitions. Other than these 'Freshers' is also organised by the college students union.

Fee structure is very feasible. Generally it ranges between an average 10,000-15,000 for a year. The main expense occurred is on living here. The college fee is reasonable as compared to the famous universities.

In my knowledge there is no such scholarship / loan facility that is provided by the college. The college fee of Delhi University is itself very reasonable and there seems to be no need of any kind of scholarship.

The college is famous for its extra-curricular activities. There are various societies that are run by the students itself like the Debating society , Drama Society , Athletic team , Enactus (the social entrepreneurship society) , NSS ,etc. The labs are well maintained with all the necessary equipments. The sports facilities provided are also good.

I didn't get the hostel as there are very limited seats , but as I got to know from my fellows , the hostel provided by the college is average. The Infrastructure is normal and the food is also okay.

As mentioned , the seniors are very helpful right from the beginning of the admissions. They also advice you good in every matter. Similar is the alumni network. They are also very helpful and good advisors.

I Filled the form of Delhi University and after the cut-off list was out , I went to the respective college of my choice and filled the form and fees there. There were students to help you out there in the college to fill the forms and thus it came to be a no haphazard process.

Faculty of college is good. They are very helpful. They are clear with the concepts and help us in studies a lot whether it be in the regular classes or the doubt classes , which are a kind of extra classes for the students to solve their doubts.
