Keeping in mind the advancement of data science, I opted for it. We have many types of clubs like cyber security, robotics, coding, etc. Our clubs organise many workshops, hands-on training Aur clubs also organised internal hackathons. Our clubs students also participate in National level hackathons. We have many hands-on projects. It prepares is for the real-world applications.

Giet University provides good internships to the students. Many internships have hands on projects and workshops to provide experience to the students. As I am a first year student I don't have that much idea about the internships.

From 7th semester onwards students can be there for placement drives. Percentage of students getting placement is good. We have a good placement drive. Eligibility of placement is 7Cgpa onwards. We have good number of students getting the placeme My plans is to getting the degrees to go for campus pla and obtaine a good package placement.

The fee structure for every year is 275000. Fees is paid in two intervals. At the time of admission we have to pay 137500 for 1st semester. For second semester we have to pay another 137500. The fees is the addition of both fees and hostel and mess fees. It's increasing on a minimal rate.

Every year a grand fest is organised. Students really eniov their grand fest. The fest best attraction is the DJ nights. It's usually held in DECEMBER or FEBRUARY. Range of books in library is vast We have annual sports of sports like cricket, basketball, kho kho, badminton. GIET have 14 number of hostels. In new hostel 4 students leave in a single room. We are provided with bed, a chair, a table. We have attached washroom with our room. We have also balcony. We have different menu on different days. On festival occasions we have without owning girl food in our mess. Food politics good. We have to register for hostels during the time of admission. We can choose our rooms according to our wish like four sharing or three sharing. Hostel fees is minimal of 84 000. All hostels are inside the college premises only for boys. If you looking for any PG or enter room it is easily available around the college area.

I didn't applied for any other colleges. Admission in GIET is really easy. But we have take an entrance test if we have not given any competitive exams. For eligibility we have to pass 12 with 60 percentage. If we have given competitive exams like JEE, wbjee or any other then admission can be direct. Overall admission experience is very good.

There are many good faculties for students. Faculties are talented and are upto the mark. They are very friendly with students. Some faculties are strict but are helpful to the students. We have really good faculties. Many of our faculties are doctorate in their own subjects. In a semester we have two 20 marks class test, two 30 marks cycle test and one 60 marks semester exam. For internals we have viva and practical exam. The difficulty level of the exam is not that tough. If we thoroughly read what we are being thought in classes we can easily crack the exam with good marks. But a little practice is needed for theory subjects like m programming, subjects of mechanical engineering, physics.

We have a cafeteria, gym, library and a famous hangout spot for students called COOL PARLOR. Gym, cafeteria and cool parlor closing time is around 8 pm. Library has no closing time. It's open 24/7. Hostel in time is not there, but We have to be inside the college premises before 7 30 pm. Outside the college premises we have famous Mangalore pieces like JJ ,BN, old bus stand and shopping malls. These at the sports were people like to hangout, these are actually stop names. It is safe to roam around this places in the evening what after 8 and 9 p.m. people use to close the shots and go home so after that it is not safe. Not safe in the sense that there will be no shop open or no one on the streets after that time.
