Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum here is really well designed as per the current market requirements, especially for the cse braches there is a significant emphasis on coding/programming based courses from the very first semester and throughout the B.Tech course along with essential AI/ML concepts regardless of whichever specialization one opts or not.

Internships Opportunities

4

There are ample internship opportunities at ITER right away from the 3rd semester companies like Samsung,ServiceNow etc. offer internships to students. The college also encourages its students to take up innovative projects under the guidance of professors and also provides the required resources for the same.

Placement Experience

4

At ITER placement begins from the very end of 6th semester(3rd year) almost 50-60 % students get placede in 7th semenster itself and rest are placed in the 8th semester. ITER holds very decent corporate relations and many top corporates and MNC's recruit from this college the known one's being MIcrosoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Adobe,JP Morgan, Atlassian etc. The highes package for year 2024 was 50 lpa and average package was about 9lpa. The college has an overall plaxcement percentage of 95%

Fees and Financial Aid

For 2025 the academic fees happens to be Rs.1,42,500 per semestetr for core CSE branch and for CSE specializations it is Rs. 1,52,500, for ECE and EEE branch Rs. 1,27,500 per sem. and for mechanical and civil branches the fees is 1,12,500 per sem. There is ascholarship of 36,000 Rs. per year for students who have 80 percent and above intheir 10th ans 12th and maintain a cgpa of 8.0 and above throughout their B.Tech course.

Campus Life

4

There are numerous annual fests organized in the campus, most of them are held during early winters. All the clubs participate in these fests and there is a chance for almost everyone and anyone to join their desired etams or events and contrubute in whichever way one likes. Also, there is a huge state of the art library bigger than many IIT's and almost every NIT there is with fantastic collections of journels and various other book collections. With a dedicated sports block containg all major indoor sports facilities its a really rejoicing expireance at ITER

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel facility is a bit crowded but adjustable. There are 3 and 4 accomodation rooms and a total of 12 boys hostels and 4 girls hostels. The registration process is just after the admission. There are lots of rental appartments and PG's near the college where one can stay with decent security, and many food services.

Admission

I joined this college due to its updated course currirulum and nice placements. Also the fact that ITER provides a nice infrastructure for students to pursue research at an early stage in their acadamic journey is another aspect to why I joined this college. To join the college there are essentially two ways. The forst one being JEE(MAINS) and SAAT(Aptitude test organised by SOA Univertsity) after quailfying through branch wise specefied cut-offs can one take admission in ITER.

Faculty

4

The faculty student relationship is great, the professors are really supportive and guide through both personal and profeshional agendas to the best of their capacity. Not just professors but the top order management like the HOD's and subject coordinators also support to event a student presents before them. There are 2 major exams namely mid-sems and end-sems, apart from these there are a couple of quizes and group discussiobns as well.

Night Life

4

There are many parks and numerous Cafe's in and around the campus, although during night inside the campus there are several restrictions but the evenings are really wotrthwhile. Hostel in-timmings for boys is 10:30pm and for girls it is 7:00pm. Girls ahve a dedicted sort of campus with every facility there is from shops to dedcicated gyms in the hostel and a dedicated basketball court.

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.
