Course Curriculum Overview
The forensic science course is a multidisciplinary approach of science and includes the applications of physics, biology, chemistry and mathematics too. A student of science can pursue it irrespective of PCM or PCB.
Placement Experience
The college doesn't provide you the opportunity for internships, if you want to do one then you need to find by your own self in 3rd year. College will provide opportunities for placements and highest package of 2025 (3rd year students ) is 9 lakhs per annum and this will surely increase with upcoming years
Fees and Financial Aid
The first semester fees is 46500/- and fees of the rest semesters is 42350/- per sem. Uniform fees is 3500/- ( to be given in the first sem only along with the uniform containing 1 blazer, 2 shirts, 1 pant, 1 tie, 1 lab coat) Annual fest fees ( depends on the budget of fests, varies from 500-1500 Rs.) DCPD Fees is the fees for opportunity of placement from college which is 3500/- PTU sem examination fees is 6000/- in first sem ( may increase in upcoming years) and for rest semesters it is 2000-3000Rs. Per sem The rest amount of fees after deducting 15500Rs. Per sem is compulsory for all the students. And You can get 100% scholarship from 15500Rs. Only .
Campus Life
College provides a variety of opportunities in extra curricular activities like sports clubs, dance clubs, and many more. You can literally take part in anything you want to. Many sports are being available here.
Admission
I chose cgc jhanjheri, because This is the best and most affordable college for forensic science near Chandigarh. I was looking for Chandigarh University too but make sure that there fees is much higher than my college and there are very low facility of tools .
Faculty
All the facilities of forensics are cool and amazing. So there are a total of 6 exams from which 1 is the final semester ptu exams which is at the end of semester. And 2 mid sem tests after every half syllabus completion ( these marks are being in record in the application of the college) and 2 preparatory tests before every mst ( just like a normal test in class only) . Last but not the least special mst for the students who fails in one of the two mid sem tests.
Night Life
It is more restricted for girls for their safety. Hostelers aren't allowed to leave the campus without permission. Hostel opens in morning at 8 AM for both girls and boys whereas closes at 7:00 PM for girls and 8:00 PM for boys. In winters this time is adjusted.
