The Reality of DU colleges

This University offers very less professional degrees and BBS is one of them. This is a very demanded course in the outside world also and the students who do MBA after their graduation are prone to get more opportunities and exposure in the field. But apart form just pursuing the course you will also have to work on you skills as today people are not just hired for their degree but also for their potential and skills.

Iam a first year student and i dont know much about the companies visiting our college. But what I know is there are not alot of placement opportunities in the off campus colleges (there are some exceptions). This is also a reason why companies dont come in these colleges for placement. But if you are form the north campus or south campus you can have alot and better opportunities than the off-campus students

I think the fee depends on your category. If you are from reserved categories it is reduced to some extent. Me being from general category had to pay rs 250000 for locking the seat in the first round of seat allocation of Cuet. But if you are opting for hostels it will cost you additional ?100000 .Thats what I have heard from the hostels students.

The technical fests at the north campus and south campus colleges are very good and they are actually worth attending as alot of experienced people are also invited to share their life experiences and to provide a guide to students but on the other hand these fests at off-campus colleges are nothing but a failure. The libraries of all the colleges are very nice students can easily issue books and fine is also much less 2rs per day. There are mostly all kinds of books present there and the decorum of the place is also maintained students can easily sit and study in libraries without any disturbance

Your preference list plays an important role in deciding your college and I made a mistake in making the preference list only . Their are multiple more colleges better for this course but due to lack of knowledge at that time i made some mistakes. But i will advise you to keep the best colleges at the top doesn't matter what your score was. Colleges like Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Shaheed Sukhdev are the best colleges for this course . So please read thorougly about all the colleges. ALSO DONT BELIEVE THE NIRF RANKINGS.

The faculty us nice apart from a few teachers. They try to help us by providing different study materials and also provide tips for the exams. Students can approach the faculty and clear their doubts but that has to be done in a respectful manner and by maintaining boundaries. The exams are moderate. They are not too easy or not too difficult. Students can easily pass the exam. Although the exams are taken in strict environment to avoid students from doing any unfair practice.

I am not a student from the hostel so i dont know alot about hostel life but the areas around the college have nice cafes and eating spots where students can hang out with their friends after college hours also the prices are very affordable and they are also located very nearby on a walking distance There is gym inside the college only and it has all the machines and essentials for the students
