Remarks
The faculty over here is very trained and well educated. Most of them have worked abroad and now came just to serve the nation. The curriculum is also great as it focuses on the overall development of the student.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is very good. DEI follows continuous evaluation system. That means there are marks for attendance, class tests and daily home assignments. One subject is of 200 marks that are further divided into 150 internal + 50 external.
Placement Experience
The placements are good according to the capabilities of the candidates. Around 60-70% students are placed every year while some opt of higher education. The minimum package last year was Rs2. 5 lakhs per annum with maximum package of 6.5 lakhs per annum.
College Events
We have various competitions scheduled to be conducted through the year both inter and intra faculty. We have an annual fest "Sampravah", which is held in a large scale wholly organised by the students under the guidance of teachers incharge
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is very feasible as This College is government aided. The fee per semester is approximately Rs6350 per semester for B. Tech. Students. So I don't think you can get a better college than This considering the fee you pay.
Fees and Financial Aid
First of all I think that there will b no need of scholarship as the fee is already so low. But if someone thinks to go for it then you can apply for scholarships if eligible. The scholarship is provided by UP government.
Campus Life
The college is not that good if you are talking about sports. Extracurricular activities are good. When we talk about labs, Electrical and Mechanical labs are old but civil labs are newly constructed.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is very strong. We have alumni meet organised every year. We also have a web portal for all alumnus to register and stay connected with each other. Communication with seniors is OK.
Admission
For admission in B. Tech. 60% weight age is for 12th marks, 5% for 10th, 15% for JEE score, 10 marks for CCA, and remaining 10 for interview. This makes a complete 100 marks merit. The process of admission is online form based.
Faculty
Since CIVIL is new in this college. There were less faculties than was required for a particular batch, but now TEQUIP has recruited the deficit faculties and who are well versed with the syllabus and have good command in teaching.
