BBD University B.Com Hons. review

Positive remark is that college is good campus have good fee structure and satisfactory teaching and satisfactory facilities. College also have gym and grounds. Bad remark is there are no proper complaining facility for faculty and they are no activities for playing sports. You can only do that if you are in hostel or after college hours.

Course Curriculum is like any other college of undergraduate course. It includes six subjects and accounts and economics will be common in all semesters. Exams will be semester wise in 6 semesters. There is a GP of which marks will be added in the marksheet, it is based on attitude in class and attendance. Also internal marks which will be as per class performance.

There are no placement for under graduate courses like bba and bcom hons. Maybe in future they may provide but not till now. Only Post graduate and B.tech student get placement opportunities. They may show you that people get placement but I have been told that undergraduate don't get placement.

Many events and fest are done in college. There are events and fests like Uttkarsh and Udgam and Manthan and Talent Hunt where students get opportunity to perform and show their talent and win prizes.

Fee structure is feasible in B.com Hons. They provide facilities like drinking water and other needed facilities which are good according to fees they take. Other than this, they also have good campus and canteens which is good for college students.

College provides scholarship for bright students and it provides and conducts some exams and also there is a bank in which you can fill a form to apply for scholarship. You can get scholarship if you are eligible as per conditions.

There are labs of computer and chemistry and library is there in the University building. You may not found all books in the library. Computer lab is good, it has required amount of computers. There is a big cricket ground, football ground, tennis court and badminton and basketball court.

Yes I have opted for hostel. Hostel have good infrastructure with fans, big rooms and bed and clean and hygienic toilets. Facilities like dhobi is also easy, there is one which is easily accessible and food is not so good like every other hostel.

Ragging is strictly prohibited so there is no need to worry. Be good to seniors and seniors will be good to you. They will help you if you need but they also expect good attitude by you. There is no network officially but they will come to offer fresher party which will be first and best way to make your network with seniors.

Just got a form from the admission office of the university, filled it and gave an interview to councilor and later attached documents including marksheet and TC and paid quarter of fees and I got the admission.

Faculty is good but not excellent. Its on your luck of what type of faculty you may get. Main thing is to get notes and faculty will try to do that. Teachings are not very good. Some teachers are good but from my experience only 60% faculty is good
