Remarks
Positive remark: our college gives a very good atmosphere for students. There is no external problem for students. All the teachers and staffs helps students a lot for their upliftment. Negative remark: our college is situated in a place which is around 3 kms from the main road which makes a difficulty for transportation. However college provides bus services for students.
Course Curriculum Overview
Btech course is very useful for getting a good job as well as it is a professional degree. But it is very difficult to complete for an below average/average student as a student need to complete 48 papers, lab exams and internals which need a hardwork.it is a 4 year course. There are 2 semester exams in a year. Each semester contain 6 subjects. In IIT semester there are two internal examinations and lab examinations.
Placement Experience
There is a very good placement and job opportunity in our college. Every year students are placed in the companies like wipro, ust global,poornam infotech ,etc. Our college also provide internship opportunities to technoparks, factories etc
College Events
Our college celebrates every events in a good manner. The grandest of all event is the techno fest called EKA which is celebrated once in a year.it is of a two day event where exhibition are made by students, every people can attend the event. Other events we celebrate are onam celebration, xmas celebration, college day, arts fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of our college is feasible comparing othe engineering colleges. As our college is under cape and a govt self finance the fees is less comparing other colleges. The annual fees for a merit seated student is 40000/- and management seated student is 65000/-. For Nri seats it is 100000/-.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college provides all the scholarship offered by the college like premetric scholarship,fisherman scholarship, and scholarship for st/sc Students. All students who are eligible for the scholarship can avail the scholarship with necessary proofs and documents.
Campus Life
Our college supports extra curricular activities like labs,sports,arts etc. We conduct sports competition in our college every year to find the talents on the ground. After the college competition the winners are made to complete in inter college competitions. Also to support extra curricular activities workshops are conducted of different subjects.
Hostel Facilities
Our college provides hostel for only girls students. The average monthly fees for girls is around 5000/-. There are other hostels which is nearby college under the control of the college. There the fees is around 4000 per month.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students helps the newcomers or juniors in a great manner. Seniors helps the juniors how the events and other system of college takes place. They encourage other to take part in the events and helps in arranging necessary steps.
Admission
After completing my 12th standard I attended KEAM entrance. When the first allotment result came i got a different college. But when the second allotment came i got college of engineering pathanapuram as my merit college. I took admission. The annual fee is around 43000 rupees.
Faculty
Our college has a very good faculties all the faculties are very much trained which helps the students to understand the subjects with deep knowledge, also the faculties gives computerized teaching which helps the students to attend the examinations in a very good manner.
