Course Curriculum Overview
I choosed arts because of my dream to crack upsc mpsc and to become a ias, ips officer that was the reason I choosed arts at first it was hard for me to get along but as the time passes i loved this course very much and I'm not even completing my bachelors in arts due to the passion I've teachers here explain everything with a nice real world experience soo you are tough to handle it sometimes teachers doo send the extra notes very late ( day before the exam) that's very wrong to doo
Internships Opportunities
There is intershala who offers intership to sies students where college sents our portfolio to intershala and they helps us in getting intership which are suitable for our need like ( college studies etc)
Placement Experience
After the ty many companies come for placement interviews and the one who is nice eligible candidates gets in I'm new to college so I don't know about the companies which visits and offers but it is mostly done by intershala online only the much I know 80% is the percentage of students getting placement ( by my guess) I'll be doing exams like UPSC after getting my degreee
Fees and Financial Aid
Sies college of arts commerce and science has a variable amount of courses going on and have decent about of fees to pay as im a arts student the fees structure is 8850 approx due to the aided system of government and the course name is bachelor's in ARTS, the subject which I choose in arts was political science and economics, there are also extra curricular activities to doo and even many other courses like language learning etc course which can improve our skills and sies even habe Collabed with intershala for intership chances to under graduate or graduated students for getting financial help and even to get some experience of work and rather then this there are also many ai courses, engeneering courses in college which are also good to goo. Campus Life
Visions is the most favourite annual fest of all time where students enjoy the party and dance together with fun, our library is one of the oldest library in mumbai we have many varieties of books and magazines and newspapers etc
Admission
I did applied in many Colleges like ruia, somaiya, Xavier's, sies etc butt i didn't got confirmation due to my low marks because the cutoff there are soo high but luckily I got confirmed in sies then I never thought again a confirmed my addmission there, when I went there for addmission i took me 10-20 mins for completion of my addmission and it soo fast and easy for doing even the teachers did helped me in everything
Faculty
Each and every faculty is very cooperative to students and have a very nice way to talk with them as to solve any kind of problem or anything they doo help uss to solve the issue because I'm from the arts background I might say arts faculty is nice but there are some things that might need to be changed the way for the period which are sometimes soo late because of that the students who live at another city gets late to reach home and then. It is hectic everytime and about exam fy has 2 sems and each sem has mid sems which conclude 25 marks each subject and is medium but some exams are also hard thoo
Night Life
Night life in college has now work as there's no working hours at college at night but outside of college there are many outlets to hangout with friends like pizza hut, cafes, McDonald, marts etc and has a garden opp of the college where students come to chill at free lectures
